Wonder No More

I wonder how it must feel to wrongfully kill someone.”

Alec Baldwin mocks Huntington Beach cop Eric Esparza who shot and killed a suspect in September, 2017. The shooting was later ruled justified by the Orange County district attorney.

    Trump made him do it.
    And as an employer…
Who knows what to believe. He’s long been a name on the Hollyweird naughty list.

Alec Baldwin might be an entitled left wing arrogant prick, but he will live the rest of his life knowing he killed another human being, accidentally or through ignorance or another’s fault is irrelevant.

It will haunt him to the end of his days, and for that I feel terribly sorry for him.

  4. Ed Case says:

    Nah, he’s a psychopath, so remorse isn’t a reality.
He is in a lot of trouble tho, the camera crew had gone on strike over Gun Safety issues and accused Baldwin of being a tightwad.
Look, he’ll probably skate if he turns Tranny.

  5. Tel says:

I don’t feel all that sorry for Alec Baldwin … the story is coming out, that the same production had multiple “near miss” safety incidents earlier, and the union had put in a formal complaint with a number of people simply walking out not wanting to take the risk.

Although Baldwin is not specifically responsible for everything that went on … he is high profile enough that he could have done a heck of a lot more to ensure this kind of thing didn’t happen. At the very least, you aren’t even supposed to point the gun at bystanders and even the most basic firearm safety rule in movies is that they aim to miss, deliberately, just in case something does fly out.

The Leftist safety dogma says any time you do anything that even slightly increases the risk for other people … you are guilty even when nothing actually happens. Well, Baldwin was front and centre putting a lot of people in a dangerous situation, and he ultimately pointed the thing and pulled the trigger himself. I’m so fed up with hypocritical leftists scolding other people, then doing the opposite themselves … actions gotta have consequences. Perhaps in 2019 I could have felt sorry for the bastard, but not anymore in 2021. What’s worse … I am absolutely sure that Baldwin will whimper and put the blame on everyone else and act like he’s an innocent victim in all of this … his kind always do that. Just watch, it will be the performance of his career, totally insincere but great acting.

Exactly Tel and only if because when someone points a gun at you fear escalates. It happened to me a long time ago with some friends. A friend was climbing through a fence and in the process had his loaded rifle pointed directly at me. I immediately went ballistic on his ass(pun intended).

It probably was very difficult for Baldwin to avoid pointing the gun at someone on set because there are people all around the set and he was acting a part so that requires specific stances. If anyone is to blame it was the director. I wonder if it was a prior squib load.

    Well said Tel.

  8. Pedro the Loafer says:

Kill someone and their shade will haunt you forever.
Baldwin might be the world’s biggest living arsehole, but this will be a dark cloud over him for the rest of his life.

I am somewhat surprised at the cold hearted comments above.

Put yourselves in his shoes. Arsehole or not, he should be pitied for the burden he will carry to his grave.

  9. Entropy says:

Would hate to be the armourer on set.
How is a loaded gun there in the first place? How is it that if he was handed any kind of gun, Baldwin didn’t clear it himself?

  10. cuckoo says:

You wouldn’t wish this fate on anyone, not even Alec Baldwin.

I seriously couldn’t believe, seeing the wrap on this last night, some clown asking White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki for a take on this. WTF has this got to do with the White House?

  11. cuckoo says:

As Chips Rafferty says in the movie Smiley gets a gun “The gun is always loaded and the horse always kicks”.

“I am somewhat surprised at the cold hearted comments above.

Firstly, my sympathy lies with the family of the diseased woman….she’s dead, and with the family of the man fighting for his life in a hospital.

Secondly, as Tel wrote above, “I’m so fed up with hypocritical leftists scolding other people, then doing the opposite themselves … actions gotta have consequences.”

Thirdly, Alec Baldwin is an awful nasty man. He has spent decades spewing abuse at people for no good reason and he’s gotten away with such nastiness because he’s part of the Hollywood Liberal elite.

Fourthly, the news coming in is that the set was rife with safety issues and that corners were being cut……so here we have a scenario where Baldwin, the uber progressive Democrat, was part of a production that was cutting corners AND using scab workers….union crew members walked off set days before the shootings because of safety issues and these union members were replaced with non-union members.

Quite frankly I’m tired of being lectured to by slimy leftist progressive hypocrites who say one thing and do another. So no, I have no pity for Alec Baldwin.

  13. C.L. says:

It wasn’t my intention to suggest Baldwin is not deserving of sympathy.

It was merely to point out that in 2017, a a military veteran deranged on multiple heavy drugs (according to the Orange County coroner) tried to take Officer Esparza’s gun during an arrest and was shot dead. Three days earlier, the perpetrator had beaten an 80 year-old man to death.

Alec Baldwin’s first instinct was to mock Esparza on Twitter and encourage hundreds of thousands of people to regard him as a murderer.

As far as I know, he has never apologised.

  14. John H. says:

Just plain weird. Unfortunately we’ll probably never have enough information to know what happened. This account doesn’t make any sense.

    https://www.news.com.au/entertainment/movies/alec-baldwin-rust-onset-shooting-director-joel-souza-speaks/news-story/cdeae13bf91b8c5a9d8c5c8a6a370363

The publication said a production source confirmed crew members had shouted “cold gun” which is supposed to indicate a gun that was not loaded with any ammunication, either live rounds or blanks.

“Baldwin removed the gun from his holster once without incident, but the second time he did so, ammunition flew toward the trio around the monitor. The projectile whizzed by the camera operator but penetrated Hutchins near her shoulder, then continued through to Souza.

  15. Ed Case says:

    The projectile

    whizzed by the camera operator

    but penetrated Hutchin

    near her shoulder,

    then continued through to Souza.

Reading that waffle, you’d never guess Alec Baldwin shot 2 people.
Tim Blair should have fun with this “writing style”.

  16. Lee says:

Reading that waffle, you’d never guess Alec Baldwin shot 2 people.

Similarly, you’d never infer that conservative British MP David Amess was assassinated by an Islamic terrorist, he just “passed away”, according to London’s lord mayor.

  17. sam1250 says:

The commentary all seems to be about the Hollywood elite, sorry did he get shot, die? Seems like nobody is interested in the victims, not worth the time, we are all focused on the feelings of a Hollywood actor who has proved himself time and again to be a “B” grade human being.

  18. Ed Case says:

Hundreds get shot every day in America, Sam.
    Alec Baldwin shooting a couple?
That’s a Man bites Dog story.
