  1. a reader says:

I was forced to get two otherwise I lose my house, my job and my entire career. Fucked if I’m getting a third

  2. Entropy says:

It’s a frigging virus! Of course there will have to be boosters.
The question is if our masters will make it compulsory or nit, or worry about it as increasingly people don’t bother.
    Just like the flu shot.

  3. C.L. says:

I’ve never had a flu shot in my life.

  4. Rex Anger says:

    You’ve missed nothing, CL.

    Trust me.

  5. dover_beach says:

Me neither CL. I don’t think I’ve ever had the flu either.

  6. Ed Case says:

Read recently that the incidence of Allergic Rhinitis is 3,000% higher among vaxxed people.
Haven’t had a vax [tetanus] for 45 years, but the A.R. never goes away.

  7. rosie says:

There is nothing extraordinary or sinister about boosters for a virus.

Flu vaccine also wane in effectiveness.
I’m not convinced there is any exceptional bravery in not having been vaccinated against the flu.
I will continue to do so annually rather that rarely as I used to, because the flu affects children* who can die of it, and I’m happy to protect my grandchildren as well as myself.
*My daughter’s friend’s two year old spent a week in icu with the flu a couple of years ago. .

And yes the only issue should be government compulsion.

  8. Chris M says:

because the flu affects children* who can die of it

Yes it is more dangerous than the Wuhan virus in that way. Problem is the efficacy of the ‘flu shot’ is exceedingly low (unmeasurable some years) and there is evidence that if / when you do subsequently catch the flu it is enhanced (ie worse).

On topic – an actual headline from the local “def not funded” Murdoch rag today:

“Third shot gives near complete, possibly lifelong protection”

  9. Not Trampis says:

given social distancing and no employer allowing employee even with a sniffle allowed to go to work these days the flu season has not been seen in two years.

flu jabs are nowhere near as effective as the covid ones. They are usually based on flu in the northern Hemisphere which can be right but not always.

  10. Entropy says:

The absence of the fluid because of closed borders numnuts. I had a flu shot this year as I have been going to old folks’ homes. But I am not deluded enough to think it is the reason for the absence of the flu. It just isn’t that effective in a population sense.

    And yes I
There will be n9 conspiracy about boosters for Covid. We will need them forever, the thing is it should be treated like the flu, no compulsion.

  11. rosie says:

    Exactly.
And as eminent professor the venerable st ruth md phd and bar has told us, anyone who is already vaxxed is likely to die within eighteen months to four years so
“What difference does it make ”

Also ADE, we see it everywhere.

  12. twostix says:

I guess six months ago when they were promising 98% effectivness, total immunity and no boosters to suddenly be explaining “boosters for the rest of your life and we’re going to be tracking whether you have them or not” is something most normal people would raise an eyebrow about.

Except 100 year old Covid Karens who want to save their own skin no matter the cost to everyone else.

  13. twostix says:

I will continue to do so annually rather that rarely as I used to, because the flu affects children*

    Yeah….that’s why.

    🤣

This is going to be very leaky for future vax coverage. People are going to resent both the permanent monitoring of their day-day travels and the constant requirement to remain ‘up-to-date’ re the vax. I also sense the normies are slowly recognizing the government is gaslighting them about the “get vaxed and we will be back to normal again” campaign. I just had a chat with a delivery driver and he noticed the hubbub in the UK about possible lockdowns again even with high vax rates. He knows they’re full of it.

  15. twostix says:

Mid last year a few weak kneed ‘experts’ feebly protested that history shows heavy handed vaccination pushes drive broad anti-vaccination movements for decades afterwards.

They were swept away, because as we now know (and anyone with eyes saw) this time they’re building a technological apparatus that you no longer get a choice about which vaccines you get.

  16. twostix says:

Among other things flu vaccines and ‘the flu’ as a cultural thing rose to near hysterical levels pre-covid, at exactly the rate that ‘the cold’ as a cultural thing diminished. Near perfect correlation as cough ‘medicines’ – once touted as curing the cold then banned for falsely advertising that they did – simply being vehicles for codeine, etc, were banned and regulated out of the market throughout the 1990-2000’s. Marketing campaigns shifted away from them, and talking about ‘colds and flu’ towards talking about nothing else but ‘flu’ and flu medicines (overwhelmingly also codeine, etc) which were then also regulated out, so then all into into flu ‘vaccines’.

This coincides with public health bureaucracies – who follow pharma influence generally and the Asia dominated WHO’s obsession with SARS / influenza creating vast autocratic influenza ‘surveillance’ systems in every country on earth to track and model and extrapolate influenza ‘cases’ and ‘outbreaks’ as a matter of policy in all major health systems. Indeed our pandemic response was tested in 2019 by the WHO as part of our agreements, we agreed to further implement PCR testing and contact tracing as part of the recommendations for improvement – surprise!

  17. rosie says:

I see you continue to stalk and harass me across the internet twostix.

I am so sick of your venom you creepy little man.

You don’t know a thing about me.

I would very much like you to stop directing comments at me, even srr seems to be capable of desisting when so requested.

Also ADE, we see it everywhere.

We see what looks a bit like ADE … quacks like a duck, walks like a duck … might be something else.

    https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2021/10/26/1046432435/ers-are-now-swamped-with-seriously-ill-patients-but-most-dont-even-have-covid

Even in parts of the country where COVID-19 isn’t overwhelming the health system, patients are showing up to the ER sicker than they were before the pandemic, their diseases more advanced and in need of more complicated care.

Months of treatment delays have exacerbated chronic conditions and worsened symptoms. Doctors and nurses say the severity of illness ranges widely and includes abdominal pain, respiratory problems, blood clots, heart conditions and suicide attempts, among others.

Various possible explanations could be speculated about: might be a result of lockdowns and people being forced into a high stress and unhealthy lifestyle … might be medical conditions that would otherwise have been dealt with early but now are catching up, that’s certainly possible … might be a second round of bio-weapon has been launched and is yet to be identified.

Or it could be caused by the vaccines … because that’s the single most significant medical intervention that happened this year. Although it’s great to have dreams and even to follow your dreams … the problems start when you want to live in your dreams. As an engineer I’ve seen a lot of people end up facing unfortunate and embarrassing events happening after saying, “Well that’s never going to happen!”

    Murphy bites.

And the other party uses Marquis of Queensbury Rules…
