All This Madness

Details of threats have been increasingly made public amid anti-vaccination protests following the decision to mandate COVID-19 vaccines for 75 per cent of WA’s workforce.

“There’s all this madness going on out there in the community, all these people acting appallingly,” Mr McGowan said.

Police Minister Paul Papalia said it is “reasonable to be concerned about the safety of the premier but also other public figures in this environment.”

The boy who killed his parents and then begged the court for mercy because he was now an orphan phoned. He wants his defining association with chutzpah back. The “environment” PP mentions is a government threatening to use monopolised violence against unvaccinated citizens trying to earn a living and feed their families. The only ethical difference between Sneakers and the young dopes who ‘threatened’ to chop his head off is that they don’t have a police force to do it.

All these Labor luminaries complaining about death threats … if we didn’t know better, we would think there was some level of coordination going on.

  2. Not Trampis says:

Just exactly what is the monopolised violence you are alleging as yet again the evidence is severely lacking.

Speaking of “the evidence is severely lacking”, still no action from you to provide actual evidence that not only did I never enter a university, but I also did not complete primary school.

Provide the evidence for your baseless assertion, or withdraw and apologise. Or just crawl back under the rock you slithered out from under.

Homer, the workers who don’t get vaccinated will ultimately be kept from their places of work by armed police. You appear not to understand what the monopoly of violence means. It means that only the state can solve what it regards as problems with threatened and actual violence. The Premiers have been threatening and using violence in this classical sense for two years.

They are not “young dopes”. They are our best hope.

  6. Not Trampis says:

So CL confesses there is no violence at all.
You do not appear but undoubtedly use hyperbole and are proved wrong time and time again.
By the way in Australia armed police is a tautology and as yet there is no evidence for your assertion.

I cannot believe that a supposedly educated person can be so completely uninformed.

Usually I do not waste effort trying to engage with you substantively, but since you are so keen on TaliDan’s Enabling Act, here’s just a few examples.

Did Andrews send police to arrest a mother for a Facechook post?
Did Andrews send police to beat up peaceful protestors at random?
Did Andrews send police to king hit and pepper spray a 70 year old woman?
Did Andrews send police to harass and fine people for sitting on a park bench, and snatch mobile phones out of the hands of elderly women?
Did Andrews send police to pepper spray journos?
Did Andrews send police to herd a protest to a War Memorial, said police then shooting (albeit only with rubber bullets at this stage) fleeing protestors in the back?
Did Andrews send police to a major railway station, where a man, who was talking quietly with another copper, was picked up and thrown head first into the concrete floor?

There are many other examples, should you have the ability to search for them. But I doubt that you have the inclination. You simply do not want to know.
