By 2030, no Australian brainchild will be living in poverty

Anthony Albanese says Labor’s long-awaited emissions reduction target will help to create jobs, cut power bills and reduce emissions…

Mr Albanese said the policy would create an additional 604,000 jobs by 2030, with the majority in regional Australia and spur $76bn in investment.

“Electricity prices will fall from the current level by $275 for households by 2025 at the end of our first term if we are successful,” he said.

    Sure.

The government spent an average of $240,000 in subsidies per each new green job.
Six studies cited in the report found that the net job effect of Germany’s green job policies were either negligible or negative.

    And:

The Obama Administration channeled $90 billion of the $870 billion dollar stimulus package towards the new green economy. The hope was that a national move from fossil energy to green energy would not only be good, long term, for the environment, but that the transition could also be a jobs’ driver, which would help resuscitate the overall economy. But two years into Obama’s administration, the White House has reported it’s helped create 224,500 green jobs, far short of the 5 million it had openly predicted.

I can create 14 million jobs by wiping out all so called Australian ‘environment’ laws that SCUM politicians. bureaucrats and judges have passed in every State and Territory of so called sovereign Australia.

    We are ruled by fkwits.

  5. FlyingPigs says:

    and not destroy the environment.

    Sure they will!

Do Albo and the Liars’ Party believe their own bullshit?

  9. Bruce of Newcastle says:

Well they aren’t called the “Liars” for nothing.

The more wind + solar electricity per capita the higher the electricity price. There are no exceptions to this relationship. So he’s either lying or he is incompetent. Probably both.

LOL… at least Mussolini was honest in his intentions.

  12. FlyingPigs says:

These pricks, like the LNP and Greens actually lie.

What a load of Albanese Bullshit.

I thought he just got some standard off-the-shelf-bullshit and put his name on that.

  14. rosie says:

    No they won’t.

  15. Perfidious Albino says:

Sure, you’re power bill might come down, but watch your tax bill to fund the subsidies go WAY up. Honestly, they take us for fools.

  16. sfw says:

Love the exactness – 604,000 I’m amazed that they couldn’t get it down to the hundreds or tens. Of course none of it will happen and no one, not the media, not the Libs or anyone else will ask why.

That be there some amazing modeling that we must bow down in awe of.

  18. Entropy says:

The assumptions in that modelling will give a new level of meaning to Chutzpah.

If you want nuclear power then it needs a price on carbon of $50- 60 to be competitive with coal fired power stations. They cannot compete with renewables.

wind and solar are still falling in price so it isn’t rocket science to expect prices to fall. We have seen it happen here recently. It is still occurring.
As for jobs it seems all models are saying it creates new jobs and in the regions.

Try to read and then to understand.
Merely because you are ignorant is no evidence of lying.

  20. Boambee John says:

ROFLMAO! Non Compos Mentis believes that models are reliable. No wonder he is reluctant to comment on any contribution from Perfesser Neil “Pants Down” Ferguson of Imperial College to anything on Kung Flu.

Double ROFLMAO! Wind and solar are free when the wind isn’t blowing and the sun isn’t shining. Non Compos Mentis believes in the Ruinable Power Fairy.

Still, his claims are no more evidence free that his claim to be able to discern the educational level of a commenter by reading comments. Though there might be a bit of truth there, his own semi-literate comments do give a strong indication of his own limited education.

If that is the case than remove all subsidies for them this instant!

  22. Boambee John says:

    Lee

Those are not subsidies. They are government “co-investments”, which, despite all the claimed profitability of Ruinables, never seem to be repaid.

Looks like a scam, walks like a scam, smells like a scam, oh, look, is’s a co-investment!

  24. Boambee John says:

    Rex A

Non Compos Mentis’ fevered imagination is not much of a source!

  25. Lee says:

Apologies; “than” in my last post should be “then”!
