Nobody except republican Peter FitzSimons who suddenly – weirdly – prefers monarchism.

It doesn’t matter who the leader is if it’s a leftie, it’s always appropriate. If it’s someone not openly leftie (e.g. the PM) it’s political. I saw some bloke on twitter saying it would be more appropriate for Albo to show up because he was from “houso” and therefore understands tragedy and poverty well.

I’m old enough to remember when a GG would have had nothing to do with this sort of event (nor the PM). My vague impression is that the GG’s role as Hugger-in-chief seems to have come in with Sir William Deane.

“Holy Billy,” as he was affectionately known.

Morrison’s visit to the pile of flowers etc was crass. Five children are dead and he’s standing on a footpath promising $800,000 for something.

What exactly is that money for?

Stupidly, I read the tweets under FitzSimons’ original.
    Absolutely sickening.

Extra Mental health services for da communidy

    Under Counselling, I guess.
He needs to pump dough into the North West to hold that seat and he’s not going to die wondering.
It was crass, but these people put Jacqui Lambie into the Senate Twice, so who knows anymore?

It’s sorta like when Newspaper Editors prayed for Car Crashes and Shark attacks on a Saturday evening to sell the Sunday paper.
With Fitzsimons and his crew every day til the Election is a Saturday Evening at the Printing Plant.
