   Deaths: Victoria 1476; NSW 648.

   Yet the bandannaed dickhead maintains that Dictator Dan is doing a better job in Victoria, than the NSW premier.
   The fact that the former is a Labor premier, and the latter Liberal is, of course, pure coincidence!
   It never ceases to annoy me that some of Andrews biggest sycophants don’t actually have to live under him, yet they tell Victorians like me what a great job he is allegedly doing.

   As for the efficacy of masks, the figures above give the lie to that.

   We know masks limit transmission.

   We “know” no such thing.
   That is what is commonly called “proof by assertion.”
   In fact many leading experts believe masks are virtually useless in stopping transmission of Covid.

   I have a sneaking suspicion the current explosion in diagnoses is simply because a whole stack of people are getting tested so they can cross state borders. That they are sick is a surprise.

   In South-West Sydney I have been just about the only person in shops without a mask this week. Easily 95% of people were wearing them before the heavy hand of the state decided to ruin Christmas once again. Dom is no better than Gladys. He hasn’t sacked the Health Hazzard or Kerry Chant so he’s worthless

   We ducked across the border today to visit the FiL. In Tweed City mall about 1/3 wearing masks. Decided to catch a bus from where we are housesitting to Robina Shopping Centre and only half the passengers had masks on, and only about a half wore mask in shops despite mask mandate. Managed to get away without checking in anywhere except the Lego store where the door bitch was particularly officious.

   It felt funny crossing the border in both directions.

   By caving to mask mandates, density limits and QR codes, Perrottet has shown that Hazzard and Chant are the power in NSW. They own him.

    Death rates, each state, two years, nothing to see here.

    Apply the same metric to NSW with the nursing homes in the very early days of the pandemic and the numbers removed from NSW tally.
