Courier Mail publishes fake news about man’s cause of death

People voting need to bring their own pen or pencil and they need to practice social distancing.”

– Back in March, 2020, when no covid vaccine existed, greedy for victory Annastacia Palaszczuk binned the advice of Deputy CMO of Australia, Paul Kelly, and forced Queenslanders to filthy polling stations for local council elections. With more than 80% of her state now ‘fully vaccinated,’ the sociopath Premier today used the death of a man from an unknown cause to frighten people into staying home. Her entourage excepted.

It would be very ironic if the “man in his 30s” in fact died as a result of the vaccine.
Of course, Palacechook would ignore or cover that up.
    Utterly shameless woman.

  2. C.L. says:

Which of course raises the question as to whether coronial officials now feel pressured to come up with a politically acceptable cause of death.

  3. Lee says:

A person’s death, or more pertinently cause of death, misused or lied about for political purposes?
    Surely not!

I trust almost no politician in this country, and certainly not the prime minister or any premier.

  4. Lee says:

I notice that although the number of Covid cases all over the country are (apparently) dramatically rising (except in WA), the number of (alleged) deaths are, if anything, dropping.
Omicron may be highly infectious, otherwise it seems to be a dud.

  5. Boxcar says:

I will forever be haunted by Palacechook’s crocodile tears on TV about losing friends to covid. What a discraceful, pathetic scumbag.
She is just another example of the excretion of politicians, a generational piece of shit

Considering that only seven people have died from or with Covid in Queensland in all this time, I don’t believe her.
Even if they are not from Queensland I suspect she is exaggerating like the drama queen she is.

  7. Not Trampis says:

a few problems here as usual.
Why are the local elections so important to the Premier. As usual you fail to enunciate the reasons.
Back then you had to be with a person for at least 15 minutes to get the virus. This is NOT the case with omicron.
I have never observed a filthy polling station here in NSW so you need to back that statement up.
Finally Paul Kelly was both right and wrong. Social distancing in March in QLD means few problems. You did not need your own pencil however. In the July or August issue of Nature that year we finally found out although not impossible it was highly unlikely anyone gets covid from touching anything. Granted Kelly did not know that at the time so we can give a pass on that.
I should add a Premier does not sign a death certificate.

Past tense is necessary. The local government elections were in March 2020. As for the reasons for their importance, perhaps ask the PalaceChook, she was the one insisted on holding them with in-person voting.

Back then you had to be with a person for at least 15 minutes to get the virus. This is NOT the case with omicron.

Two points. First, the “science” of the 15 minutes was sketchy at best. Second, perhaps you have not kept up to date. The definition of “close contact” is now four hours in a domestic setting.

Finally Paul Kelly was both right and wrong.

Kelly is not a prophet, his advice related to March 2020, not July or August. PalaceChook chose to reject it.

Then there is your usual problem with punctuation, not even kindy standard.

    LOL.

  10. Tel says:

Omicron may be highly infectious, otherwise it seems to be a dud.

It’s highly infectious for two reasons: firstly it does not make people particularly sick, therefore they have minor symptoms, are not incapacitated and they go out and spread it … second it easily evades the vaccine (which is really based on last year’s virus) and we knew that was going to happen since the flu evades vaccines pretty much every year by mutating in much the same way.

Highly vaccinated Singapore is kicking into yet another wave of infections, meaning the vaccine does not stop the spread. Even worse in heavily vaccinated Ireland which was already in the midst of a major wave but now it’s off the charts.

Germany admitted most of the new omicron cases are amongst the vaccinated.

This means that excuses about getting vaccinated for some kind of “common good” are a load of garbage. This will become just as obvious to vaccinated people as they all catch this after being told they were immune.

  11. Not Trampis says:

As usual we have NO reason why the local election were so important. how many more times will this occur. Very poor writing. IF a writer asserts something competent ones explain why.

No the 15 minute was thoroughly researched. It was why covid was so easily stopped ,lockdowns worked like a charm and lives were saved. Delta unfortunately blew this out of the water. Omicron is much worse and at this time is affecting hospitals because a lot of the nurses cannot work because they have contracted it.
It appears vaxxed people have little to fear from it

You really are thick. CL had nothing to do with the local government election going ahead, that was a decision by PalaceChook. Ask her.

No the 15 minute was thoroughly researched. It was why covid was so easily stopped ,lockdowns worked like a charm and lives were saved.

Bridge for sale, good price, easy terms.

It appears vaxxed people have little to fear from it

Appearances can be deceptive, particularly when they seem to be reflecting a particular agenda. Perhaps you could offer some statistical evidence? Get it from someone competent, not from your fundamental orifice.

  13. Boambee John says:

    PS:

IF a writer asserts something competent ones explain why.

You have made an assertion about the vaxxed and Omicron. Do as you say, explain why. Ditto for the “15 minutes” thoroughly researched assertion.

  14. Not Trampis says:

No dopey CL asserted this. Can you not read.

We already know from the USA. UK or even here.
you compare those vaxxed to those unvaxxed and as a % of population.

It is the pandemic of the unvaxxed.

Oh for the 15 minutes the old CMO now head of the Health Department made a frquent point about it. As I said that is why lockdowns worked so well

  15. Boambee John says:

    Non Compos Mentis

No dopey CL asserted this. Can you not read.

Ah, I see where you are going astray. Do the words ” greedy for victory” penetrate your thick skull? Is it your assumption that PalaceChook was hoping her party would lose seats at the local government elections?

We already know from the USA. UK or even here.

So it is beyond your capability to find some statistical data from reliable sources to link to? You rely on the bland assertion “We already know”? Have you checked recent data? Perhaps you should.

Oh for the 15 minutes the old CMO now head of the Health Department made a frquent point about it.

She could make as many points about it as she wished, what was the medical evidence behind her points? Actual evidence, not pious assertions based on modelling that has proved throughout this even to have been useless, if not positively dangerous. Quote it, if you can find it, or pull your thick head in.
