Hero: “Do what you will. I will die but I will never let you go.”

He said to the suicide bomber he’d collared: Pakistan has first ‘Servant of God’ – Akash Bashir.

When I saw this moving tribute yesterday, I didn’t think an Australian church would be violated by armed men 24 hours later. But wait, some will say, the police are not suicide bombers. No, but an evil and potentially dangerous example has been set. To wit: ‘Hate Catholics? Wander into one of their services at will and stand over them. The coppers did it.’

Way to go coppers. Perfect way to trash any miniscule amount of credibility you had as protectors of the rule of law and order.
Go and do it in one of the mosques.
Everybody should be outraged by this.

Cut and paste but I can’t link –

Harry went to Canberra – A Fed Policeman told him their numbers were down because many are on “stress” leave

    Not enough of them.

They should try that in Texas.
