This operates on the now completely defunct “theory” that unvaccinated people spread covid and vaccinated people don’t.

It’s just naked punishment, public health being used to circumvent the criminal justice system.

Also I still can’t get over some creepy business “family” building a prison camp for a state government – a Labor state government at that.

Is there a minimum number of prisoners per year in the contract? Probably.

  2. C.L. says:

I think that’s right. They have to chuck in a certain number of people, contractually, and there’s only one minority they can get away with torturing.

  3. Lee says:

I suppose if you have sufficient power, money, or influence you can avoid incarceration there altogether.
Not so the average Joe or Josephine Citizen.

    The parallels are amazing.

It’s always the Left. They want an Emmanuel Goldstein to focus blame upon, even if he’s an imaginary construct. Unfortunately all the “Goldstein followers” in the concentration camp aren’t imaginary.

Almost the definition of Fascism twostix…

Seems a good spot for “National Cabinet” meetings. Should fit all of parliament in fact, they will be safe there.

Let’s accept that some of the guests are potentially dangerously infectious and their quarantine is necessary.

So first we lock them up in bus for three hours with a driver and others who aren’t infected?

  8. Tel says:

The Omicron infections in Australia peaked at approx 150,000 new infections per day back on 13 January … but with this quarantine station running at full capacity that might be reduced right down to a tiny 149,500 infections. This setup might have been useful if it was in service a year and a half ago, but it’s totally pointless today. Might come in handy for the next pandemic fifty years away.

I dunno, perhaps they have been talking with Fauci and Daszak … those guys might be cooking up something extra. Next pandemic might be a lot sooner than anyone expects.
