  1. Bruce of Newcastle says:

Activist and former Australian of the Year Grace Tame has accused Australian media outlets of attempting to discredit her by publishing an old photograph where she is pictured with a water pipe, colloquially known as a bong, as a 19-year-old.

Tame published an open letter on Twitter on Saturday afternoon to say she felt the coverage of the 2014 photo taken from a now-deleted Instagram post on her account had let her down, not only as an individual but as an advocate for the survivor community.

‘Old news, I’ve moved on, and I didn’t inhale.’

She’s like a four year old trying to explain why there’s chocolate cake smeared all over the walls of the loungeroom.

  2. Cassie of Sydney says:

Here’s a list list of names that the adolescent, attention seeking Ms Tame has tried to discredit on Twitter and elsewhere over the last year, ever since her tenure began as AOTY in January 2021. Please note that none of the below names are from the left, funny that, she’s said nothing about Bill Shorten or anyone else in Labor. I think that if you were to delve too deeply into her Twitter feed it wouldn’t make for pleasant reading but here are some names that the nasty Ms Tame has spent time on Twitter discrediting with smears and defamatory comments….

    Bettina Arndt
    Christian Porter
    Pauline Hanson
    Scott Morrison
    Jenny Morrison
    Amanda Stoker
    Andrew Laming
    Alan Tudge
    Lorraine Finlay

Note what the above have in common? Here’s a clue, it isn’t rocket science.

  3. Ed Case says:

Grace Tame is 28, going on 29, but no way did she write that letter.
It reads more like one of Albo’s Speech Writers.
By the way, how did she defame Jenny Morrison?

  4. Ed Case says:

    Andrew Laming?
Great sense of humour, now retiring, but how did he offend La Tame?

  5. Ed Case says:

    Hi Cassie
    I’ve solved your riddle.
All those surnames are in The Peerage
Even Tame is in The Peerage.

  6. Lee says:

What a nasty, rude, vindictive, and hypocritical little piece of work.
I though no one could bring the AOTY lower than Goodes, Batty or David Morrison, but this self-aggrandising bitch has exceeded my worst expectations.

  7. Buccaneer says:

Grace Tame marking her territory to say, doesnโ€™t matter how many times she tries to discredit someone else, no one can do it to her because sheโ€™s a survivor (cue eye of the tiger). I note she never stood up for Nicole Flint and Nicole isnโ€™t afforded the same free pass from sections of the media.

  8. rosie says:

I’m heartily sick of hearing about Ms Tame.
Does she have a job, or is taxpayer funded sinecure for life?

  9. jupes says:

Grace was upstaged for the majority of her time as AOTY by Brittany Higgins. Towards the end of her ‘year’, she realised that rather than try and beat Brittany, she should join her. This she did for her week in the sun provided by the national press club. Combined with the disrespect she showed the Prime Minister at a ceremony to honour her, she ended up outshining Brittany and regained her title of victim of the year. The bong photo was just icing on the cake.

    Well played Ms Tame!

  10. Ed Case says:

Can anyone provide the full story on Nicolle Flint?
It’s South Australia, so there’s poofters involved, but who did she upset?

  11. Boambee John says:

    Dickless Ed

Could you try to tone your homophobia down?

  12. Buccaneer says:

Flint details it in her speech to leave parliament https://www.9news.com.au/national/federal-politics-liberal-mp-nicolle-flint-final-speech-misogynistic-abuse-dangerous-behaviour/a4591855-1456-4d33-adca-d2452a3d831f

I will note the left msm used her resignation at the time to imply Scott Morrison and his government have a woman problem. No apologies from these people either just reload the Tiggins showโ€ฆand pretend the alp is not full of people like Craig Thomson and albanese who visit houses of ill repute. Not to mention the number of ex alp members who have been charged with child sex offences.

  13. C.L. says:

I’m not an unalloyed fan of Flint for two reasons. First, OK – she put up with nasty treatment from leftist hypocrites, I get that. But what did she actually achieve for the country as an MP? Apart from being a wronged woman, what was the point of her political career?

Second, she has also called for ‘misogyny’ to become a hate crime. This has become a fashionable cause in the UK too. It would mean that blokes telling sexist jokes or being deemed offensive in any vague way against females would be given the Bolt/Leak treatment by the Human Rights Commission. No thanks.

Some of these women MPs would have been better off in the first place if they just stayed home and looked after their families.

  14. Buccaneer says:

I am also not a fan of Flint, she only dug in and belted the people who did those things to her in her valedictorian speech, too little too late. Had she some real guts she could have exposed the plight of those women that fall off the left platform and are pilloried for it. For example, Gillian Sneddon.

  15. Cassie of Sydney says:

    “C.L. says:
    20 February, 2022 at 9:50 am”

    All correct C.L.

  16. Shy Ted says:

I like this line from GT –

“On that note, [it] is with a swollen heart

    So, she’s vaxxed.

  17. rosie says:

Flint’s career highlight was a ‘Parliamentary Flounce’.
