For “Open secret: The Brittany Higgins story,” Samantha Maiden wins the Gold Walkley Award.
Am I wrong or is it weirdly dehumanising to be constantly referred to as a ‘story’ — as opposed to a human being — all the time? 🤷♀️

“For “Open secret: The Brittany Higgins story,””
Once again, so much for judicial subjudice.
Pell Take 2.
Nothing for Sharri Markson – who only exposed the full extent of China’s culpability for the pandemic, scored an interview with Donald Trump and briefed the United States Congress.
The Walkley/Wokely/Wankleys are strictly reserved for advocates of the PC leftist agenda.

Of course not C.L…..for the following reasons…
1. Markson works the evil News Corporation and the evil Sky News Australia.
2. Markson is Jewish and she calls out progressive Jew hatred (she had a piece tonight on the ABC giving voice to a “Palestinian activist” who referred to Jews as “filth”).
3. Markson is a real journalist, she actually does real investigative journalism. She doesn’t make up stuff like certain ABC “journalists”.
I call them the “Wankleys”…..because it is now a wank woke fest for progressive activists to applaud each other. It has nothing to do with real journalism.
And Murpharoo™ finally got one. Nuff said.
Yes, reward the trivial (and unsubstantiated) and ignore the substantial. This happens at every level of Australian government and society. We are not a serious country.
Ben Shapiro says there is journalism which is the traditional – the facts just the facts m’am and then there is journalisming – which is what CNN and the rest of the progressive alphabet media does.
Poorbrittany is a “story” because that is all she is to the political operatives masquerading as journalists that are very happy to use her.
The journalists were conflicted.
All their training tells them to bury a “story” like this, but then they can’t walk past an opportunity to kick a Liberal PM in the head either.
Oooh thinking there is a film coming out? Parliament girls gone wild…. Deviant nerds at the capital.
Reminds me of blanchett complaining about the photographer taking a picture of the $10,000 dress she was wearing.
Set out with dossier, get cranky with story.
You know what’s also dehumanizing, Brittany Higgins?
Putting a Pty Ltd after your name, and launching yourself as a Foundation.

“The journalists were conflicted”!
Bridge for sale, Dick Ed, going cheap!
She acts like a soap opera so being referred to as a story is apt.
As perhaps a sign of what lies ahead for Brittany, I see their ABC has given Rosie Batty a gig doing feature interviews, paid for with those of your taxes that don’t fund Louise Milligan’s private court cases. I suppose Rosie’s next gig will either be on a reality survival show, or painting celebrity portraits. Has she written a children’s book yet?
