New South Wales follows Queensland lead on VAD compulsion

With debate on Independent MP Alex Greenwich’s “voluntary assisted dying” legislation coming to a head in the NSW Upper House, Catholic aged care providers are concerned they will be forced to allow euthanasia on premises without conscience protections.

Were this bill to become law in its current form, Catholic aged care homes would have to allow medical practitioners on premises to perform “voluntary assisted dying” procedures or deliver euthanasia drugs to patients who would then administer them themselves.

Vatican II-era ‘Catholics’ – their minds addled by moral subjectivism and phony compassion – are once again in the vanguard of fascist extremism. In November last year, the Morrison government dumped a provision in its religious discrimination bill that would have protected health providers and hospitals refusing to participate in assisted homicides. As with ‘vaccine’ mandates, the Prime Minister and the Coalition opposed conscientious objection. Opposed civilisation.

I’ve said it time and time again…..like a broken record……why vote Liberal? They’re now simply “Labor lite”. In fact, as proven by the disastrous SA election result, where we saw an uber progressive Liberal premier lose to a Labor social conservative. The Liberals are now a branch of the Greens. I won’t be voting for them and nor should anybody else.

They’re actually heading beyond Labor lite… toward Labor heavy.

I imagine faithful Catholics would simply say no irrespective of the consequences.

Gab, as I wrote re Queensland, the Archbishop should personally attend the inevitable stand-off – and be arrested if necessary.

Judaism also prohibits euthanasia. There’s an excellent Jewish rehab hospital here in Sydney (I was a patient there recently) called Wolper, which operates under Orthodox Jewish laws. Wolper has a palliative care section. This impacts them. They’d close the ward down rather than allow VAD. There are also other private religiously operated hospitals…such as the excellent Sydney Adventist Hospital in Wahroonga.

As for Greenwich, he’s a creepy homosexual fascist. My “local member”….vomit.

    C.L. He won’t.

Pure evil IMO, and if Morrison and those in the LNP who oppose conscientious objection don’t understand why then there is no hope for them.
    Scum.
Nobody, I don’t care whether a medical professional or not, should be compelled to carry out any procedure against his or her will, least of all a life-ending one.
And the PM is allegedly a Christian and a conservative.

Speaking of the diabolical, California introduces a bill that will allow mothers to have their child killed up to 7 days after birth.

I’ve long maintained the California was the last stop to the Apocalypse.

  9. Shy Ted says:

VAD for these politicians. Sorry IAD. (Involuntary).

Easy to see why Western “Civilisation” is coming to an end. It is finished.

“Reference is often made to the fact that the last time this matter was before the House it was defeated by one vote, and members all look at me,” she said.

“I struggled with this issue when it was last considered and voted against it. I have changed my position and will be supporting the bill before the House.”

The perfect modern Australian. Terrified of being ejected from the Cult of Nice, abandons anything and everything to stay in.

Greenwich again! How does that inner city grub have so much sway over LNP policy?

This dude seriously has to have a death fetish, if it wasn’t babies when I moved down to Singleton a few years back, it is now the elderly.

Can we deport him back to NZ where he would be more at home???

Yep. A little slice of Australia right there.

Why do we even need the legislation?

This shit is supposed to be injected into muscle, but who has seen the muscle density in the average 90 yo?

The vaccine turns it into a cost/benefit analysis.
