    Their population is only 650,000. We could offer them all citizenship and they could have a referendum on it. Somare threatened that to Gough apparently back when PNG wanted independence. Probably too many of them to absorb but the Solomons is feasible. We could have some more scuba diving spots too.

    Because the Australians who make these decisions are just doing as they’re told. For money.

    Instead of wasting billions propping up corrupt South Pacific countries, spend that money on cruises missiles pointed at the Chinese bases in the South Pacific.
