Albanese and Labor back the destruction of women’s sport

A Labor spokesperson said sports can choose to run single-sex sporting competitions, or they can choose to include trans women, under the Sex Discrimination Act.

Of all the concerns women have and are passionate
about, this is not one of them. – ‘Hannah’ Mouncey

“It’s up to the sports organisations – whether it’s a grassroots or professional competition.

Sports organisations do a great job of running their competitions and programs across the country. Everyone should have the chance to enjoy the health and social benefits of sport.”

Decoded: sporting organisations can ‘choose’ but they must choose… wisely, or be subjected to a hate campaign designed to destroy their equanimity and their receipts. That Labor isn’t taking this opportunity to neutralise a controversy by agreeing to a no-brainer unity ticket is a tell-tale sign an Albanese government will not protect women and girls in their own sports.

  1. Bruce of Newcastle says:

Being squished by Mr Mouncey might be one of the concerns women have.
    Just saying.

  2. C.L. says:

Check out my own Mr Mouncey link.

Spokesbeing for Australian women – and Labor policy.

  3. jupes says:

The AFL were able to keep Mouncey out of the AWFL because “the AFL said a subcommittee had considered information from Mouncey, including data on strength, stamina and physique of transgender athletes, and the nature of the AFLW, in making its decision.”

Fair enough. However they still allowed him to compete at a lesser level, where the stated reasons are even more pronounced. So far the immoral turds have gotten away with it.

  4. Chris M says:

Oooh this sounds so Morrison! He is learning more of the evil ways.

    Wasn’t me! Not my decision!

  5. Cassie of Sydney says:

“Of all the concerns women have and are passionate about, this is not one of them. – ‘Hannah’ Mouncey”

How would Mr Mouncey know what woman are “passionate about”? Read my lips, Mouncey is not a woman, HE IS A BLOKE.

This just confirms my belief that this trans gunk is pure unadulterated misogyny….”shut up women, we men know what’s best for you”.

  6. Lee says:

Mouncey must be about double the weight of most of the women footballers, at the very least.

I must say he has massive chutzpah, speaking on behalf of real women!

  7. Bruce of Newcastle says:

I did. 😀 But earlier I’d seen the one I linked and thought that having a man-mountain land on a small woman might be quite painful…

  8. C.L. says:

Indeed. Somebody will be hurt. This is entirely predictable but, as Jupes notes, the AFL has kicked the problem down the road in a lesser competition – as if that will make any difference liability-wise.

Here was a chance for Labor to say, ‘you know what – let’s agree with ScoMo, get cheered by average Australians and do the right thing by women and girls.’ But they didn’t. Instead they expect us to believe they’re suddenly committed to laissez-faire respect for private associations and clubs. Sure.

  9. Ed Case says:

Women’s Sport is infested with Lesbians.
Since nobody wants to address this, perhaps destruction is the best for everyone.

  10. Tel says:

When there’s no audience … I guess that also means no witness.

Be honest chaps, how many second grade women’s football matches have you sat through? I doubt any of you can beat me on that score … I’ve seen none at all.

I’m not unsympathetic to this angle.
    However, I support ladylike sports.
    I don’t care if women’s ‘football’ collapses.

  12. C.L. says:

I was thinking the other day that the man whose professionalism I admire more than anybody else’s was the Channel Nine caller of the women’s NRL final. He had to pretend to care for 80 minutes.

  13. jupes says:

When there’s no audience … I guess that also means no witness.

They definitely don’t want an audience for Mouncey, however I believe they are more concerned with protection of the AWFL competition rather than paying compensation to female players injured due to their willful negligence. Having a 100kg bloke running around in televised matches against females would have destroyed whatever little credibility they had as a competition. Far better to keep him in lower grades, health and safety of the girls he’s playing against be damned.

    As I said; immoral turds.

  14. Shy Ted says:

    McLachlan has resigned –

And he’s wasted millions of dollars on a women’s game nobody watches. All it’s done is increase incidents of horrific breast injuries.

McLachlan said watching the AFLW Grand Final in Adelaide convinced him the time was right to go.

    Well, it would.
