It’s the truth.
Well the ‘gotcha’ worked. Capitulation to the far left: just what you would expect from a Liberal candidate.
She had nothing to apologise for, nor should she have.
Orders from Morrison’s office.
Everything in a campaign is tightly controlled from HQ.
Obviously she thought of calling a spade a spade!
Trouble was she stepped on a rake which hit her in the face!
There will be no boobs on a campaign trail.
Always remember, there’s no principle , no issue , no ground the Liberals will ever not walk away from if there’s the slightest push back.
It’s called the 18C position.
On the other hand, the left can’t criticise her anymore, whiles everyone knows what she really thinks. What is the position of her opponents?

Gimme a break.
The election isn’t being fought on Trannie’s Rights.
The issue of men playing women’s sport is a distraction. The real issue is the evil surgical and hormonal mutilation of children.
Sure, but an Election Campaign isn’t the right place to have that discussion.
Why not?
If adults are living proud trans lives without any medical intervention, if a man can become a woman by simply declaring it, why are so many doctors, with the tacit support of the state, subjecting growing numbers of miserable youngsters to ‘gender affirming’ surgery and hormone ‘therapies’?
Because it’s a very minor Issue blown out of all proportion by sensationalist Media.
A Sunday Mail story:
Stupid People Do Stupid Shit, Get A Load Of This!
Hmmmm, she apologising for the language and the strongest word is ‘mutilated’. While I agree with her original message, the apology such as it is may be seen as slightly ‘Clayton’s’, if she’s not apologising for the sentiment. She comes off better than Albo in my opinion, and hopefully thinking voters will see the message between the lines.
No. I just see the capitulation.
Same.
The surrender is all anyone remembers.
This was a golden opportunity to corner Albanese on this hugely important moral issue. One of the things I despise about the Australian commentariat is its preoccupation with economics. Economics is downstream from culture. You cannot protect the economy by repeatedly giving in to the left’s amoral festishes. Everything is connected. Look what happened with emissions. Morrison capitulated to net zero because the Liberals didn’t want to fight.
