Almost 30 minutes after the event was was scheduled to begin, Ms Deves’ white escort vehicle sped quickly towards the entrance of the building…

Seconds later there was loud yelling and swearing on the staircase leading up to the event room where Ms Deves was heading.

News.com.au did not see what sparked the commotion, but an angry member of the public – Norris Smith – was yelling “this is a public event” and “I’m a member of the club” as a member of staff tried to calm him down and asked him to leave.

A member of the public? Like a random Joe Schmo passing by?

Mr Smith earlier told other people in the room that Ms Deves’ comments had seen a spike in the number of young people presenting at his family member’s psychology clinic.

The 66-year-old is a volunteer for the Independent Sophie Scamps, who is running in the seat of Mackellar against Jason Falinski.

Ah. I see. A burly, foul-mouthed galoot working for “Independent” Dr Scamps had to be physically ushered away from the Forestville RSL event. As I wrote during the week, I hope the Liberal Party is providing Deves with close personal protection. ‘Transgender’ fanatics can be dangerous. Herald reporters Ben Graham and Samantha Maiden didn’t contact Dr Scamps for comment. It would be interesting to know if her campaign intends to dispatch any more “angry” men to stand over either Katherine Deves or other Liberals she doesn’t like.

I’ll have ‘things that never happened’ for $500.

Well I expect any increase from zero, regardless of actual reason of which there are no doubt myriad, might be an increase.

    “Transgender’ fanatics can be dangerous”

Correct. They are a critical segment of the left’s stormtroopers.

    As for Norris Smith…

“Seconds later there was loud yelling and swearing on the staircase leading up to the event room where Ms Deves was heading.”

After almost two weeks of media hysteria and lies about how Deves supposedly used “intemperate” language on social media to describe the sinister transgender nonsense, I await similar condemnation, by the media and the likes of Matt Kean…aka Green, of Norris’ real “intemperate” actions and language at the club.

But Cassie, what planet are you living on? When will you understand that it’s different when they do it. The left and their stormtroopers always get a free pass for their “intemperate” language and actions. They can scream at us, they can shout at us, they can threaten us and they can even physically assault us, and do they incur any consequences? No, it’s either nothing to see here or we asked for it…coz you know, we’re conservatives.

    Excuses are obvious.
Conservatives are evil, suicide makers, destroyers.
Progressives are saving the world from their clutches, therefore normal rules of civil society don’t apply.

Today The Oz is reporting, rather quaintly I might add, that “an irate” voter has abused Barnaby Joyce on the campaign trail. The footage is up on the Oz platform for all to see. Firstly, having viewed the footage I wouldn’t describe the man as “irate”, a more accurate description would be that the man is aggressive and foul mouthed. Secondly the Oz has covered his face. How very decent but I must ask why? Imagine, for a brief shining moment, if this had happened to a Labor or Greens politician, would the young activists pretending to be journalists at the Oz have used the mild rebuke of “irate” in their description and secondly would they have covered the man’s face? Hmm…….am I alone is wondering?

I wonder if a similar incident

Re Deves’ comments on Pete Buttigieg and his ‘husband,’ these blokes hired a gestation prostitute (a woman almost certainly in necessitous, perhaps even dire, financial circumstances) and now deliberately deprive ‘their’ twins from mothering.

This is grotesque, evil child abuse and genuine (as opposed to fake) misogyny.

Correct. Deves is right and you’re 100% right. I’m a member of the US organisation “Stop Surrogacy Now”. And your description “gestation prostitute” is spot on. Interestingly, Professor Sheila Jeffreys, a radical feminist now in her 70s also compares the process of surrogacy and the hiring of women as surrogates to prostitution. As she says and as I’ve long said, it is not a right to have a child. And if “Butt” and his “partner” wanted to children, why didn’t they adopt?

How is this not exploitation of a probably poor woman?
And I would say the same if the people involved were conservative.
No mother should have to give up or sell her children because of her pitiable circumstances.
A true act of charity would be to help her out so she can keep her own children, not effectively buying them and then boasting about it.

Oh look, in news just in this “gentleman” has been charged. Yet another example of violence emanating from the left. It seems that politicians, candidates and campaign volunteers on the right are fair game to be screamed at, screeched at, threatened and assaulted by those on the left. Who could forget what happened on election eve in Warringah back in 2019 when a Liberal Party volunteer was assaulted by (sarcasm alert) an upstanding member of the Warringah community, a man who (at the time) was a senior executive at KPMG. And how did he assault the Liberal Party volunteer?
With a corkscrew no less. I look forward to Matt Kean’s condemnation and denunciation of what ensued last night. Since Kean’s two favourite words in the English language are “hate speech”, perhaps Kean could condemn an actual “hate incident”. But here’s my prediction, all we’ll hear is crickets from the toad Kean.

“Arrest after alleged assault at Politics in the Pub event in Warringah

A man claiming to be a volunteer for independent Warringah candidate Sophie Scamps has allegedly assaulted a volunteer for Liberal contender Katherine Deves.

Member for Mackellar Jason Falinski says a volunteer was evicted from a pub in northern Sydney at a political forum which was attended by Katherine Deves. Mr Falinski told Sky News Australia that a campaign volunteer for Mackellar’s independent Sophie Scamps was evicted from the venue. “He arrived in a car with Sophie Scamps’ wrap over his car, he hit someone,” he told Sky News Australia. “The venue asked him, the Forestville RSL, asked him to leave the venue.”

A pub brawl between volunteers for both Warringah Liberal candidate Katherine Deves and independent candidate Dr Sophie Scamps at a “politics in the pub” event on Friday night has led to a police assault charge.

The incident occurred at about 6pm at the Forrestville RSL where Ms Deves had been billed to speak alongside her party colleague and federal MP for Mackellar, Jason Falinksi.

Police said officers were called following reports a volunteer at a private function within the venue was allegedly pushed by a man in the reception area.

The man, who identified himself to witnesses at the event as a volunteer for Dr Scamps, is accused of yelling at and behaving aggressively towards Ms Deves’s volunteer.

A police spokeswoman said a 67-year-old man was issued with a court attendance notice for the offence of common assault.

“The man was escorted from the premises,” she said.

He will appear at Manly Local Court on May 25.

A witness statement signed by Ms Deves’s volunteer said the event had been intended to be a night for “supporters” from the seat of Mackellar to meet the Warringah candidate and Mr Falinski. However, after details of the event were leaked to social media, journalists turned up, before being told they would not be allowed inside.

The statement said a man claiming to be a volunteer for Dr Scamps followed Ms Deves and her minders into the RSL despite being told it was a “private event”.

It also claimed he became aggressive.

“At this point, his face was about 10cm from mine, and I was scared that the situation was going to escalate to physical violence,” the statement said.

“The operations manager then intervened and asked the gentleman in the Hawaiian-style shirt to leave.”

Dr Scamps’s volunteer earlier told journalists how Ms Deves’s comments on Twitter had seen an increase in patients at his relative’s psychology clinic.

Ms Deves has come under fire over a series of now-deleted tweets on trans teenagers.”

Fair go Cassie – no doubt the poor buggerers have been trying very hard to have one of their own…

    the poor buggerers

    Heh.

  12. C.L. says:

    Well well well.
Thank you for the update, Cassie.

  13. Ed Case says:

What’s Katherine doing at that NMRA function??
And who’s the Head Tilty old gal on stage with her?

  14. Ed Case says:

It was a set up, but the Liberal minders handled it professionally.
