The Rule of Gore

A group called ‘Ruth Sent Us’, named after Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, have stated their intention to stage an invasion of Catholic churches this coming Sunday.

The hate group’s plan is eerily reminiscent of how Catholics have been targeted by the Ku Klux Klan and others in American history.

On their Twitter page, the anti Catholic pro abortion extremist group writes:

‘Whether you’re a ‘Catholic for Choice’, ex-Catholic, of other or no faith, recognize that six extremist Catholics set out to overturn Roe. Stand at or in a Catholic Church Sun May 8.’

Not surprisingly, the Biden ‘administration’ has not – and will not – condemn the illegal leaking of the Supreme Court’s draft decision. Sociopathic White House spokesman Jen Psaki even refuses to criticise zealots who doxxed – and are now stalking – justices outside their homes. For Democrats, violence won’t be an unfortunate side effect of the worst breach of security in SCOTUS history but a welcome crisis. Just as the party stoked a once-in-a-century wave of homicide, arson and looting in the crazed aftermath of the death by elephantine overdose of drug-addled thug George Floyd in 2020, so it is now exploiting the termination of the fake Roe v. Wade ‘precedent’ as a nudge-cudgel to bully the public. ‘Vote for us in the mid-terms and we’ll make it stop.’ A danger now exists that an attempt could be made on the life of a Supreme Court judge.

Atrocities upon travesties upon crimes upon lies. Less than half-way through their Truman Show dupe’s only term, the weirdos managing Joe Biden have created a crap mountain so high it darkens the Rockies. “We have a different country now,” Donald Trump told a radio interviewer last week. “They have destroyed this country in one-and-a-half years.” As legitimately demented as Biden is, however, his personal wickedness should never be played down. Even the clinically bamboozled can remain savants of an especial whim. On abortion, Biden has been retailing the same black lies for decades. Here is an example from last Tuesday:

Look, think what Roe says. Roe says what all basic mainstream religions have historically concluded… that the existence of a human life and being is a question. Is it at the moment of conception? Is it six months? Is it six weeks? Is it — is it quickening, like Aquinas argued?

There is no “question” about when human life begins. It begins at conception. What “religions” – which is to say, masses of people – once believed on the subject is irrelevant. Democrats believed black Americans were simians until the 1960s. They believe men can give birth in the 2020s. These beliefs aren’t true either. More importantly, note Biden’s hackneyed misinformation about what St Thomas Aquinas “argued.”

Throughout history, theologians have weighed the relative gravity of sins for penitential reasons – just as our courts and parliaments still do. The penance required of a transgressor for cold-blooded murder in the 1200s differed from that required of a drunken horseman whose charge trampled a child to death, for example. Aquinas was not diluting the immorality of abortion; that it was sinful in all circumstances the Angelic Doctor never questioned. The Catholic Church – from which Biden has chosen to exclude himself – has always held abortion to be gravely wrong. By determining that life began many weeks into a pregnancy, Aquinas was actuated solely by a duty to apportion blame justly and mercifully. Biden’s falsification of faith and reason isn’t merely the hallmark of one man. It is also the raison d’être of his party and the defining malice our time.

I recall the almost palpable outrage from the left when a left wing church here in Australia was invaded by protesters during a Sunday service several years ago.

But as Paul Joseph Watson would mockingly attribute to the left: “but it’s okay when we do it!”

One can only imagine the reaction from the left (and Muslims) if protesters invaded a mosque, especially during a service.
But of course, said protesters wouldn’t dare do it, and we all know why; unlike Christian worshippers those attending a mosque probably wouldn’t turn the other cheek.

In any case, the Catholic Church doesn’t make and enforce laws, governments do, so why they are being targeted is a good question.

But don’t forget, C.L., that right wing terrorism poses by far the biggest threat to America, according to the Democrats, and all the violence and mayhem cited by you was done “in a good cause.”

  3. Perplexed of Brisbane says:

I assume they won’t be invading any churches in Texas.

Otherwise the outcome could be called (late) Post Partum termination.

    Well said, C.L.

Ginsburg was the archetypal activist judge, creating law from the bench.

Very good episode of Tom Woods covering where law is going in the USA.

    Liberals Are Evil

Like most conservatives, I used to think that most liberals are nice people who are misguided because they haven’t studied economics, don’t know anything about history or foreign policy, and so on. I no longer believe that to be the case. I don’t think it is possible to observe today’s liberalism without concluding that it is largely demonic.

    Great piece C.L.

Given what’s going on in the US and across the West generally, I’ve been thinking a lot about a book I read decades ago and one which I’ll read again. It’s a story written by the great Polish Jewish writer, Isaac Bashevis Singer, who only wrote in Yiddish. The story is called Satan in Goray and it’s based on the true events that happened in the late 1600s when Jewish communities across Poland, Lithuania and what’s now Ukraine had just endured the Cossack pogroms. The massacres left utter devastation in Jewish communities, there was ensuing hysteria and many took comfort in an unhealthy messianic zeal and that the world was going to end. Many thousands of people became susceptible to false messiahs, the most famous being Shabbatai Zvi, who amassed many followers and led them on a merry road of devastation and depravity, much like the Pied Piper of Hamelin. Zvi and his followers ended up converting to Islam because he was given a choice by the Sultan, conversion or death. The story “Satan in Goray” is based on these events but also on old Polish Yiddish folk tales, and it chronicles how the Jews of Goray split between the traditionalist Rabbi who insisted that no one is bringing the end of days and tried to maintain some rationality and the many who followed the false messiah. But as the unhinged hysteria and depravity increased, it’s obvious that it’s no Messiah who’s appeared in Goray, it’s Satan.

I believe we’re witnessing a similar unhinged situation in the US and across the West. Satan is running amok. After decades of unfettered liberalism, all under the foolish guise of being “nice”, Satan exists now in the form of the progressive left. His unholy tenets are third wave feminism, SSM, transgenderism, abortion, destruction of family, divorce, the sexualisation of children, suicide and so on. His progressive followers are messianic, unhinged, crazed, wicked, deranged, mad and manic. There are innumerous examples but here are just a few, the progressive reaction to the Supreme Court leak, the doxing of the Catholic Supreme Court judges, Antifa’s terror in Seattle and Portland, the riots that ensued from George Floyd’s death, the church burnings in Canada, the appeasing of Islam, the attacks here in Oz on anyone who dared question SSM before the joke of a plebiscite and the huge travesty that was the persecution of Cardinal Pell. And that’s just a smidgen.

However some of the fault for this evil lies with those of us on the right who for too long have turned the other cheek, thus emboldening and empowering this evil. That old adage is relevant “the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” I think it’s time for good men and good women to stand up and say NO to the evil lie that is progressivism.

Today I listened to a superb discussion with the great playwright David Mamet (now a conservative) and he told an anecdote of his friend Ruth Wisse, who’s a professor of Jewish literature at Harvard. A few years ago Ruth was asked the following question by a fellow academic, “Ruth, I want to speak up about something but what will happen if I tell the truth?” To which Ruth replied…….”you’ll be free”.

The problem the left have, the globalist left, is the timeline.

We all know the goal was to bring down the USA and the west by 2030.

Two things stuffed up their time line plans.
Trump winning office so shocking to the Elites, Hillary couldn’t even come out to accept defeat……and they didn’t get the guns from the people before hand.

Trump exposed them, made them pull a stunt…I’m not saying he did it on purpose, but he made them pull the covid stunt, before they got the guns, and if you remember just prior to Trump getting in and during his term, they were doing everything to get them.
    That ws their priority.

It is war, but we do have things in out favour.
The USA is not done yet.

    It is still armed.
Twitter bought by Musk and other free speech platforms gaining momentum.
There is more decentralised power in the USA….Florida is already laughing at the ministry of truth.
Look at Gates….he’s losing his shit, and can’t even keep his limbs still.

I reckon we are not done yet.
This reeks of despertion timed as it is to drown out the launch of 2000 mules.
    They are shitting themselves.

  10. Entropy says:

I would not invest too much in that movie doing anything Struth.

  11. struth says:

I think it won’t do much either, Entropy, but I’m very cynical of media and left wing tactics, and I know they don’t want people seeing it, hence all of a sudden out of nowhere, there’s abortion to fight over again. Roe VWade is actually Roe Wade V 2000 mules, in my opinion.
They’ll bury that movie deeper than a truck convoy to Canberra.

  12. Not Trampis says:

No the leaking was not illegal. If you do not know that then what do you know!

I much prefer Justices that do not lie through their teeth at their conformation hearing and in very clear terms outline why Roe V Wade should be overturned. Alas the Alito draft does not do that. I am not sure why. There are plenty of respectable papers that have.

The Supreme court is held in a low ebb at present. This will only exacerbate that trend.

Conservatives understand how important institutions are to democracy flourishing. The highest court in the land is possibly the most important institution in that. Unfortunately there are few conservatives left in the Republican party now.

  13. Boambee John says:

    Non Mentis

The Chief Justice does not agree with you about the leak not being illegal. But what would he know, compared to an obscure financial “expert” at one of the lesser Australian universities?

As for the content of the draft, it quotes multiple pro-Roe/Wade legal types on the weakness of the original judgement. And it refers the matter to state legislatures as the appropriate authorities to act, rather than courts.

As for lying in confirmation hearings, what do you make of the person touted as the first “black woman” nominated to the Supreme Court, who claimed under oath not to be able to define a woman? How does xe know that she is the first?

Conservatives do understand “how important institutions are to democracy flourishing”. But that is only as long as institutions serve their proper purpose. Legislating from the bench by supposedly detecting an “emanation from a penumbra” is not the proper function of courts.

Biden was put there to destroy the USA – and he’s doing a remarkable job, isn’t he?

    Cassie 9:23 pm

Thank you for that fascinating historical precedent, Cassie.

I would add the insane lust for world war in Ukraine.

  16. Not Trampis says:

Actually he has never said it was a crime. as you cannot read that is what I expect. however it has been pointed out by quite a few legal experts no crime was committed.

alas some of the sources were poor or inappropriate.. I hope this is rectified when other justices make comments.
Alas she said it was not her job to define it and it was not.

The court is essentially seen as partisan hacks. If this draft opinion is supported it would exacerbate that trend. none had the courage to engage on this issue when they were at their confirmation hearings which is where they should have.

Yeah having a jobs boom is destroying the USA.

  17. C.L. says:

Homer, if you have a transcript or video proving that a nominee was asked whether the Roe vs. Wade fake ‘precedent’ would have stare decisis standing in relation to all conceivable cases for all times, please post a link here.

You’re simply retailing MSNBC talking points.

  18. Boambee John says:

    Non Mentis

however it has been pointed out by quite a few legal experts no crime was committed.

Those would be the “legal experts” who support Roe vs Wade? Totally unbiased, of course.

alas some of the sources were poor or inappropriate..

    Political value judgement.

Alas she said it was not her job to define it and it was not.

If you had successfully completed pre-school, you could comprehend that saying she could not define a woman because she is not a biologist goes beyond saying it was not her job.

The court is essentially seen as partisan hacks.

And has been for decades. The squeals here are because someone is attempting to restore it to its proper function, instead of the tactic of legislating from the bench currently favoured by the DemonRats and the rest of the so-called “progressive” left.

  19. Not Trampis says:

    CL you are a joke.

you can get evidence from every nominee saying the sane thing.
Roe V Wade was law and would not be over turned. ALL 5 judges who apparently agree were all asked this.
No ne had the guts to say Roe V Wade was bad law and should be over turned.

no wonder the Supreme court is held is such low regard.

  20. Boambee John says:

    Non Mentis

ALL 5 judges who apparently agree were all asked this.

Try reading their exact words. Unlike you, these judges are smart enough to put their responses to such a pro-forma question into language that soothes the fanatics, while leaving the possibility of new arguments that can shed new light on a case. And, contra the fanatics, there is always room for new arguments. If not, the judges Roe vs Wade would never have been able to find that “emanation from a penumbra”.
