   Wasn’t a tranny from La Trobe uni heavily involved in the Victorian safe schools program? I recall something about it having been photographed assaulting someone who had been wearing a red cap. As far as I know, got away with it too because persecuted & orange man bad.

   When I was a child (1960s/70s) there is no way known that my parents would have knowingly let any LGBTQ person within cooee of me, let alone one in a position of some authority.
   It may have been a more innocent time, but my parents were not naive and were obviously well aware of grooming types and worse.
   They would have been utterly revolted by “Safe Schools.”
   In fact, I know my father was.
