“I am a black, gay, immigrant woman. I am the first of all three of those to stand here,” Karine Jean-Pierre said as she took the podium in the White House to answer journalists’ questions for the first time.

She might have added angry to that list.

Joe Biden’s new press secretary, one of the most high-profile jobs in the US, indeed the world, hails from a far-left Democrat activist background, a curious choice for a President who ran on bringing bitterly divided Americans together.

Jean-Pierre has accused at least 50 people and organisations for being racist between 2015 and 2020 alone, according to a recent analysis by the New York Post, including former president Donald Trump, many of his staff and cabinet ministers, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Fox News.

“If it walks like a racist, talks like a racist, acts like a racist, it is a racist and we have a racist president in the White House who really pushes his racism like a peacock,” she said in 2018 of the former president, in remarks unlikely to endear her to a big chunk of the country.

Jean-Pierre, 47, has big shoes to fill, replacing the highly regarded Jen Psaki, 43, who is heading to MSNBC to anchor a TV show, where she is bound to make multiples of the press secretary’s $US180,000 ($257,000) salary.

For all the outrage she generated among the administration’s critics, Psaki was a competent and respected operator in a demanding job that requires an astute, eloquent and likeable individual. Trump burned through four in one term.

The White House press secretary promotes and clarifies the president’s policies and decisions almost every day, a particularly important role under Biden, who gives few interviews and is not always clear when he does.

Jean Pierre, who is married to CNN journalist Suzanne Malveaux, claimed Trump stole the 2016 election and Governor Brian Kemp in Georgia similarly stole a 2018 state election against Democrat candidate Stacey Abrams.

She also promoted the now-discredited Steele dossier, which suggested Trump was in cahoots with Russia, and panned incriminating stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop, which tuned out to be true.

A veteran Democrat operative, including stints as a commentator on the left-leaning MSNBC and on Barack Obama’s and Kamala Harris’s political campaign staff, Jean-Pierre joined the White House communications team early last year, becoming Psaki’s deputy.

Creighton needs to get out more if he thinks Psaki was likeable. And it wasn’t Trump who “burned through” four press secretaries but the pack of deranged dogs that made their lives close to unbearable on a daily basis.

There is a simple reason why Ms. Deves tweeted about children being surgically mutilated and sterilised.

It’s because children are being surgically mutilated and sterilised.

Around the world, there are girls as young as 13 who have had a bilateral mastectomy because of dysphoria about their bodies. This has been done in [U.S.] gender clinics, and also by private surgeons … Ms. Deves probably knows this. There was nothing in her tweet that was specific to genital surgery in Australia. That’s something her critics inferred. Ms. Deves thinks girls this age having completely healthy breast tissue removed because of their mental health struggles is mutilation. So do I.

And the backlash that focused on the “surgically mutilated” part [of the Deves tweet], conveniently failed to address the part about children being sterilised.

If a child has their body arrested [by puberty blocker drugs in early puberty, at Tanner stage 2], how does that child develop fertility? The simple answer is, they can’t. We all need the later stages of puberty to fully develop sperm and eggs. They have been sterilised by medical means. They have been sterilised by doctors at our children’s hospitals.

We are in the midst of a medical scandal. This is happening under our noses. We are all somewhat complicit; we have failed to support our colleagues who have raised concerns before, we have blindly assumed that a children’s hospital must be doing the right thing simply because it’s the children’s hospital. We haven’t asked questions. Or we’ve been too afraid to.”

Cassie, I can foresee many massive lawsuits in the years ahead by young women who have been surgically mutilated and sterilised as girls.
And I hope that their ethically bankrupted doctors and counsellors who advised or surgically altered them are as a result monetarily bankrupted and their careers ended.
As for politicians who support, allow, or condone this crap, I have the greatest contempt.

World Health Organization Officially Says Being Transgender Is Not A Mental Illness

As people around the world don rainbow swag in celebration of International Pride, the World Health Organization (WHO) has come out with an announcement of its own.

For the first time since 1992, the organization issued a major revision to its international manual of diagnoses and, among other things, a major shift in the way transgender people are treated. The 11th revision of the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) reframes “gender identity disorder” as “gender incongruence”, moving it from a mental health disorder to an issue of sexual health. Codes issued by the ICD are used by countries to determine where to invest resources as well as how to set certain insurance billing standards.

The agency says there is now enough evidence suggesting that being transgender is not a mental disorder and classifying it as such can cause “enormous stigma” for those who identify themselves as transgender. The move will reduce stigma while also ensuring access remains for necessary health interventions.
… Similarly, homosexuality was removed almost 30 years ago.
