  1. Lee says:

Sick and tired of hearing Albo’s whining sob story.

  2. Lee says:

Trying to elicit the sympathy vote is as contemptible as it is pathetic.

  3. Mak Siccar says:

What a fake, a real POS! Long may he/it/they rot in political hell.

  4. Tel says:

Making people feel sorry for him is a heck of a lot easier than making people feel confident about his ability.

He is at least firmly entrenched in the ALP philosophy: I earned it, I deserve it, because I sat on my bum so long and it’s my turn now. The theory that leadership operates the same way as a Soviet breadline.

  5. Jannie says:

It worked for Rudd didn’t it? He and his mum lived in a car in the middle of the road or something. God it was so sad.

  6. vlad redux says:

Life wasn’t meant to be Alban-easy.

  7. Romanitas says:

Born in a log cabin, no – wait, a taxpayer provided apartment. The fool thought he was fighting Tories until 20 years ago when he found out that there were no Tories in Australia. He is so fond of his mother’s religious beliefs that he has totally rejected the Catholicism that enabled him to be born and not murdered. Compared to a happy-clapper with no principles whatsoever and a crew of gay Labor-lite oddballs. Why did we fight WW2???

  8. Ed Case says:

Albo is sporting an earring in his left ear in the birthday cake photo.

  9. Pommy Al says:

I’ll vote for a bill to euthanise 99% of the politicians and mainstream media in a heartbeat

  10. Old Lefty says:

He will have to be taken aside by the guardians of political correctness and told that the word ‘mother’ is now banned for transphobia. Presumably he didn’t read his brief again.

And even the great Gough will now have to be cancelled. All those speeches beginning ‘Men and women of Australia’!

  11. Old Lefty says:

Nice one, Vlad. But it’s always been easy for Allegra Big Spender. 🙂

The Spender have a classic interview pre-election. The answer to the housing problem, she declared, was increased housing density – but of course not in Wentworth! (Imagine those redneck westie bogan proles wanting back yards! Damned cheek!)

If my basic grasp of Italian is anything to rely on, doesn’t Allegra mean Swiftie?
