Ron DeSantis: Drag-show groomers in Florida to be prosecuted

You had these very young kids, and they must have been like nine, ten years old at a, quote, ‘drag show,’ where they were putting money in underwear. So we’re going to look to see what can be done under existing statutes.”

Moves are also afoot in Tallahassee to ensure parents who take their children to such performances will be investigated.

Take note Republicans, take note Conservatives, take note Liberals, take note Nationals, this is how you fight the culture wars. And its quite simple, you fight and you throw it back.

  2. Old Lefty says:

    OK, Groomer.

  3. Bluey says:

Ron DeSantis has been setting a fine example.

  4. NoFixedAddress says:

When you take on the woke you know you, your family and co-workers and their families will need swags of security!

I wonder when the SCOTUS moves to Florida?

  5. C.L. says:

I fear for DeSantis and his family.
He is now firming as the GOP favourite for 2024. The kind of garbage the Deep State is preparing to throw at him doesn’t bear thinking about.

  6. False Equivalence says:

Unsurprising that Cassie is a De Santis fan. He is very much in keeping with her totalitarian and divisive agenda.

Sounds like a False Equivalence. The fascist left are the ones into a “totalitarian and divisive agenda”.

    Bullshit.
No doubt you’re a Biden fan though.

  9. False Equivalence says:

BJ&Lee: suggest you have a close look at DeSantis. He has pans to get right into your underwear drawer.

    Paranoia much?

He is very much in keeping with her totalitarian and divisive agenda.

Perfectly describes the wannabe one party-staters Biden and the Democrats, not DeSantis.
Upset because DeSantis is keeping deviancy and child groomers out of Florida schools, and is showing up the various Democrat administrations, Falsie?

  11. Cassie of Sydney says:

False Teeth’s “underwear” comment is very revealing. He clearly has no problem with the sexualisation and grooming of children. I should not be surprised.

If he wishes to die of boredom, that is his choice, but I would need more evidence than your assertions to worry.

BTW, are you a sock of Non Mentis?

Trump is still 37% ahead of DeSantis in the GoP primary polls.

I don’t think DeSantis has acquired enough fire in his belly to take on the deep state. Trump now has zero illusions and is very likely to go sufficiently postal. Which America needs to survive, unfortunately.

You describe that so well, Bruce.
That’s what keeps me in Trump’s camp, as much as I deeply admire Ron’s courage and combativeness.
The practicality of Trump’s age, however, has to be taken into account. He would be sworn in at 77 if he won in 2024.
Love my elders but America needs to do away with its toxic gerontocracy.

Lyndon Johnson was 64 when he died.

  15. As long as Trump retains his wits, as long as he can control his agression over what has been done to him and if he doesn’t harp on about issues that don’t resonate with his base (forget about his role expediting the covid jabs), he’ll be good to go again. DeSantis can be the follow-up in his wake.
