    Peter Smith asserts that Covid isn’t serious. I have no idea what expertise he has to make that assertion. But I find it hard to accept that nations like Japan or Vietnam would adopt the structures they have without good reason. China as things stand has had 300 million people locked down and is seeing its economy slow sharply. The US has had over a million deaths.
    I’m afraid I just don’t buy the denial of what is a stark reality.

    Three out of ten Australians have now had Covid. 7, 634,450 of us. We should have had 150,000 deaths if the death rate is 2%. We have had nine thousand deaths, a rate of 0.35%. That is, less than you would expect from the flu.
    Clearly the vaccines don’t stop you getting it, but maybe they have attenuated it. Or maybe it was all bullshit.
