■ Gough preferred Greece: Albanese to visit Paris to ‘reset’ Australia’s relationship with France.
■ Grattan to the rescue: Anthony Albanese has a lot on the go in the ‘back office’ of government.
■ Grattan to the rescue: Anthony Albanese has a lot on the go in the ‘back office’ of government.
Why do we have to reset the relationship with France? It’s a country on the far side of the planet and they have zero interest in us except to scam us for military equipment that is overpriced and doesn’t work. They will do absolutely nothing to help us in event of any need whatsoever.
In the middle of a national energy crisis, the elbow goes missing, over and over. I suppose it’s ok for him, the taxpayers foot the bill for his electricity costs at the lodge. Now there is no media push back on the ‘the PM will answer no domestic issues questions while overseas’ schtick he will be away every time he doesnt want to front up.
it’s completely shameless after the stitch up on the previous government.
Why doesn’t he zoom the re-set, emissions-free?
That would mean closing his pie hole.. among other things
“it’s completely shameless after the stitch up on the previous government.”
Agree but the eternally wimp Morrison and the Liberals never fought back against the stitch up.
It’s a lot like the Brittany Higgins dilemma, if you push back on it you give it oxygen, if you do nothing, you’ve wimped out. All the while Kathy Sheriff can’t get an interview and the Jerome Laxale scandal was buried by the media refusing to cover it.
1972 reminders over and over.
“It’s a lot like the Brittany Higgins dilemma, if you push back on it you give it oxygen, if you do nothing, you’ve wimped out. All the while Kathy Sheriff can’t get an interview and the Jerome Laxale scandal was buried by the media refusing to cover it.”
Ignore it/don’t ignore it, it gains oxygen anyway…..by MSM scum and by social media sewers. So what you have to do is return serve, ball by ball…..the Trump/De Santis way because if you don’t, it will devour you and that’s exactly what happened with Morrison and the Liberal government. It began with the bushfires, and then came the Four Corners’ disgrace “Inside the Canberra Bubble”, followed by little Miss Tame appointed as AOTY then the Higgins story and then the Porter outrage.
It was ALL confected, designed to destroy the Liberal government and it worked a treat, because spineless Morrison never, not once, fought back. When the disgraceful, ridiculous, ludicrous, nonsensical, laughable, absurd Porter allegations surfaced, all Morrison had to say was one word “Shorten”. But he didn’t. It was all down hill from there.
It also didn’t help that Morrison was cowardly in standing by his own. It is now clear, and Andrew Laming has confirmed this, that Morrison never had Laming’s back and it’s pretty obvious that Morrison didn’t have Porter’s back or Tudge’s. That’s Morrison’s legacy. Morrison is not missed.
I have zero time at the moment but I would love to explore the touching generosity of the ACT’s DPP and Chief Justice giving Wilkinson the luvvie’s privilege of not being naughty from now on.
As if prejudicial commentary and events hadn’t already been going on for months and months.
Nailed it beautifully – as always, Cassie.
Add also the Liberals’ total indifference to the treatment of Leak, Bolt, Afghanistan War veterans and Pell – all on their watch.
At least the Liberals were not indifferent to the treatment meted out to Bettina Arndt.
Couldn’t agree more. I would point out that it takes courage to do what Trump De Santis do. Morrison had none and was caught up playing politics with his own side. Similar to Matt Kean.
What Morrison never did was make the other side live their own standards. This is Dutton’s challenge. Part of that challenge is to pin the media when they indulge in politics by omission
Yes, yes. The fact that the PM’s office denied he was in Hawaii when he was. Totes confected.
And yes, the news that the top law officer of the country had been accused of rape by a deceased (alleged) victim was met with “Well, what can you do? It’s not like there’s going to be a charge now. No, there shouldn’t be any sort of enquiry at all.” Real “confected” the response to that.
A woman turns up claiming a sexual incident late at night in a Minister’s office 2 years before, discussed it with the then Minister soon after it happened, a staffer was sacked, and the PM says no one told him about any of this until now? Yeah, real “confected” that people thought that sounded suss.
And then he made the embarrassing claim that it was his wife prompting him to think about it as if it had been one of his daughters that made him realise how serious a rape claim was.
Normal women (and men) – not angry spitballs of rage like you – thought in sufficient numbers that Morrison (and his office) was just terrible in the way he (and it) responded to serious issues, especially those dealing with women, and voted accordingly.
They were right, and it tells us a lot about your crank take on matters that you think the problem is he wasn’t aggressive enough in dismissing women’s claims of sexual assault. He might have won your vote, but (obviously) would have lost even more women than he already did.
The “crank old woman” vote is hardly worth pursuing.
Cyclones ??
He was invited to a NATO meeting boofheads.
Jerome Laxlale ??
Leak?? The bloke who told his lawyers to go hardball and then played innocent when all the person wanted was a meeting
sometimes it is too easy to merely say you crazies are on drugs
The Whitlam/Cyclone Tracy/Greece reference blew right over Trampo’s head.
Innocent of what, bone head?
There did seem to be quite a bit of orchestration going on in the Porter, Higgins and Tudge matters – saturated coverage on the ABC and commercial outlets. Interesting to see Jan 2021 social media post of high profile event organiser that they were looking for a narrow focus on the LNP only. And what of the PR Firm Director’s involvement at that event and at the NPC address last Feb. Just googling these events brings up so many images, signs, news stories over the last 15 months which were then amplified in further news stories, interviews, magazine shoots etc. Not sure why the judiciary did not act earlier, surely they were aware of the issues after the Pell case – media outlets fined about $1M in June 2021 for contempt of court.
Non Mentis
Cyclones ??
He was invited to a NATO meeting boofheads.
Are we in NATO? Or is AnAl being sucked into another unwinnable war somewhere? Aussie troops for Ukraine? And Non Mentis seems to be on board.
“At least the Liberals were not indifferent to the treatment meted out to Bettina Arndt.”
Indeed…they were so indifferent as to actively participate in the Arndt lynching.
I see False Teeth has reinvented himself as “Prospero”. Only a week or two ago he was claiming that he didn’t vote Labor.
Yeah…pigs might fly.
Kathy Sheriff claims that Vic pol didn’t bother to contact her witnesses and just closed the case. No follow up from the msm, Peanut head is now a minister of the crown. Double standard definitely given the porter claimant withdrew, tudge was found for in an investigation and higgins went to the media well before the police.
Jerome Laxale, who brushes off a volunteer who claims to have had an online affair with him that included photos he inexplicably shared with his opposition, then the ALP brushed any kind of scrutiny and the media said ‘hold my beer’
No wonder the elbow wants to spend so much time overseas.
He should meet the NATO boofheads at a later time.
Best to ignore hypocrites and far-left shills like Prospero.
$3.4 billion dollars and five years to NOT design a submarine. Elbow should be hammering the Frogs for ripping us off, but no, the fool will go and suck up to the bastards.
Australia. Dumb beyond belief.
“Best to ignore hypocrites and far-left shills like Prospero.”
Yes.
Ha. Makes a difference from your usual rigid compliance with Emperor Palpatine’s entreaty [“Let the hate flow through you!”]
Let the hate flow through you, says the tool who comes here to troll people, excuse me while I clear the little bit of vomit from my mouth.
Coming from a lefty, classic projection.
I just offer guidance as to the direction in which reality lies.
Cassie and others here seem to be under the delusion that the Australian electorate is as potentially Right wing as the Trumpian Republicans. Can’t see it myself – and I can offer this polling in support. (Even amongst those who voted Coalition in 2019, a substantial majority preferred to see a Biden win in 2020.) Still a worry that 23% said they would like a Trump win, but this was also before Jan 6.
Anyway, our new PM is doing fine, and all Ministers are looking competent and not, well, flaky and out of their depth?, as did virtually all of the Morrison cabinet.
ROFLMAO.
You are even more deluded than I thought.
“Anyway, our new PM is doing fine, and all Ministers are looking competent and not, well, flaky and out of their depth?, as did virtually all of the Morrison cabinet.”
But…but….False Teeth, only a week or two ago you assured us you don’t vote Labour.
Prospero
Anyway, our new PM is doing fine, and all Ministers are looking competent and not, well, flaky and out of their depth?,
In your dreams. Bowen? Not flaky and out of his depth? ROFLMAO. Just one example.
If your punctuation were not so much better than his, I would wonder whether you are Non Mentis’ sock puppet.
What I do in the cardboard ballot stand is as secret as a Pell session with his confessor, Cassie.
[I’m holding my hand up for a high 5 for that as a bit of trolling. Anyone…]
“What I do in the cardboard ballot stand is as secret as a Pell session with his confessor, Cassie.’
So False Teeth, what would Pell have to confess?
o cyclones around at the moment.
Leak played hardball and then played the innocent victim. what d you think that means bonehead apart from Leak being a hypocrite.
He was invited to the NATO meeting. cogitate on why he was invited.
Primary school dropouts would not an outstanding minister if he tripped over one.
Non Mentis
He was invited to the NATO meeting. cogitate on why he was invited.
I already did, at 1432 yesterday:
“Are we in NATO? Or is AnAl being sucked into another unwinnable war somewhere? Aussie troops for Ukraine? And Non Mentis seems to be on board.”
Perhaps you should learn to read. Oh, sorry, that was taught after you failed pre-school.
Idiots who failed pre-school fantasise that anyone in politics who is as ignorant as they are must be a “fantastic minister”. Wiser heads know differently.
NATO is about the military Homer. Nothing else.
The idiot might come home with another wonderful French military contract.
Albanese was Washington’s candidate.
So he’s going to do Washington’s bidding, which is to go to Paree and suck Macron’s dick.
And sell Australia out.
And collect 10% of the Subs cancellation fee?
