The letter doesn’t pull any punches either. Calling them out for what they are.
the letter would be better if it gave some examples.
i have read numerous examples of people crticising his legal opinions. not one mentioned he was black
When I google Clarence Thomas Uncle Tom, Google give me the helpful suggestion of related searches, there is only one result ‘Clarence Thomas Life Expectancy’ are they really being helpful or suggestive?

OK – give us some examples, with your legal opinion added (of course)
You do realise that the Democrat Party don’t like N@##*%s so there is no need to add his being black to their diatribes…
The controversy is over the interpretation of original intent of the Constitution and the consistency of interpretation is the issue. It applies to each of them that follow that notion.
Non Mentis continues with his tradition of selective vision.
And Falsies with his of obscurantism.
Highly recommend reading Clarence Thomas’s biography.
He grew up under the shadow of slavery in rurul Georgia.
Alas still no example.
I do note Thomas was the only Justice to side with Trump forces. most thought he should have recused himself given his wife’s wingnut fantasies. A man with integrity would have.
How dare he as a black man do that!

Lee has provided the evidence that Non Mentis avoided looking for.
The man is perfectly capable of continuing to avoid evidence, regardless of how directly it is presented.
Thank you Lee at last. however I doubt if the letter was referring to such people on twitter.
I never read twitter on articles so i could not see it.
By the way describing Thomas as an Uncle tom is not racist.
Non Mentis
By the way describing Thomas as an Uncle tom is not racist.
You really are grossly ignorant of US history.
I never read twitter on articles so i could not see it.
Is Joy Reid beneath your dignity also?
Joy Reid of MSNBC used that [Uncle Clarence] slur in 2020.
Boambee: Thomas isn’t controversial for his race. It’s his insistence that the Constitution can be fixed in time and have creative interpretations of what was intended.
Falsies
Two points.
First, if his race has nothing to do with the controversy, why do those who dislike his decisions raise it in discussion?
Second, “creative interpretations of what was intended”, you mean like finding, what were the words, something like “emanations from a penumbra” of the 14th Amendment to justify a “right” to abortion? That kind of “creative interpretations?
Pot, meet kettle.
I am sure that will be of great comfort to him for all the virulently racist abuse he receives from the left.
