Building The Lily

I was trying to tell one of the guys on site to do something. And he said, ‘I don’t know why I should listen to you. Why don’t we go to the bathroom and have a striptease’?”

I think it’s one thing not to win a tender. But it’s another to then hear that your competition has said that you should ‘go back to making lunch boxes’.”

ABC quite unable to find a wymmins concreter, roofer, brickie. Maybe they were all on site.

  2. Pommy Al says:

I’m a maintenance fitter and turner. Now retired. On the very few occasions a female showed up the sledgehammer was totally ignored. Too hard. When things get heavy and dangerous the men do all of it. It’s a fact.

  3. Buccaneer says:

I might note that the current labour shortage affects female dominated fields too, where exactly are all these unemployed females just waiting for a magical trades job to arrive? I suspect if all the whining nurses in NSW think a tradey job would be a cruise compared to their current lot, they might be pretty disappointed.

Interesting article, I learnt a couple of things. First, Victoria has a legal requirement that 25% of people on projects over 20 million have to be women. Well, it is Victoria. Also, two women said if more women join in the construction industry, the gender pay gap will close. This is the first time I have heard such heresy from women. Someone better tell them not to state such truths least the Twitter mob descend in a rage.

  5. Perplexed of Brisbane says:

It is illegal to pay someone less for the same work based on their gender. There is an earnings gap as many women take time off work to raise children and /or return to the workforce in jobs that are more family friendly that don’t make the demands on their time that some jobs do.

There is evidence that even when women do jobs that make those demands, they wish to work less hours to still be with their children or to have a life.

Unfortunately, even the most generous employer can only afford to pay maternity leave for so long.

This Feminist nonsense has only got 20 or 30 year left before it is expunged. If the Trans men don’t send them running back to daddy for protection, demography and open borders will eliminate them.

Sadly or I wont be around to cheer. Or perhaps happily I wont be around to weep about the downsides.

  7. Wyndham Dix says:

Spoken of ancient Nineveh, Assyrian capital associated with sin and vice, before the Medes destroyed it in or around 612 B.C.:-

Behold, your troops are women in your midst. The gates of your land are wide open to your enemies; fire has devoured your bars. (Nahum 3:13 ESV)

    Nahum 3:13

We ignore such precedents at our peril. Australia’s feminised society today and defence force in particular will be no match for an oppressor who sets foot on our soil with malevolent intent.

But feminists will not be told and there are too few men of conviction to retake the initiative from them. Female self-entitlement is today unassailable by all reason.

    Alea iacta est.

I think the way things are going, they will not be men of conviction but men with convictions if they try to retake the initiative.

Lol. No one on site ever said that to me.

Probably because I was paying their wages.
