  1. Perplexed of Brisbane says:

They probably aren’t killing themselves for the reasons Roberts imagines and thanks to the laws passed and being passed, no-one is legally allowed to help them, so they are trapped and doomed by his and other activists desire to ensure no-one escapes from their clutches.

  2. C.L. says:

There is no evidence any ‘gay kids’ have killed themselves over any of these issues.

If ‘gay kids’ have higher rates of suicide or ideation, their alleged predicament isn’t helped by homosexuals who are no longer private people but garish freaks waging a hate war on the community and seeking to do psychological harm to others (most especially Christians) 24/7. The Mardi Gras would have tipped more of them over the edge than anything else.

The thing to realise about Roberts is that he isn’t very bright.

  3. Boambee John says:

Is there a recent photo of Roberts? Just wondering how he is aging.

  4. NoFixedAddress says:

I think youth suicide is appalling in general.

What is Roberts doing about it?

  5. rosie says:

Gays just love holding the ‘do this or gay kids will commit suicide’ sword over people’s heads.
    I’m still not buying it.

  6. Terry says:

‘What is Roberts doing about it?’

    Exploiting it for ideological advantage.

A terrible human and that has zero to do with whom he chooses to have sex.

  7. Fred says:

I’m surprised there are any of them left.

  8. jupes says:

Just heard from the Roosters’ coach that young homos are five times more likely to commit suicide than normal kids.

    I’m calling bullshit.

  9. C.L. says:

    OK, let’s assume that’s true.
That points to the conflict between their alleged ‘sexuality’ and the sexuality of 98 per cent of the human population. That might conceivably be psychologically burdensome.

But I would argue two things anyway: the in-your-face vulgar, revolting behaviour of out-and-‘proud’ homosexuals today would not do anything for their self-esteem; and, second, this claim doesn’t justify a vicious war on, say, marriage and faith. Being ‘gay’ isn’t a licence to go around destroying society.

  10. Terry says:

‘the in-your-face vulgar, revolting behaviour of out-and-‘proud’ homosexuals today’

Young footballers are fined, suspended, sacked, admonished, embarrassed, and ostracised for far less outrageous behaviour than that of the “gay community”

  11. Bruce of Newcastle says:

I expect Christian kids commit suicide at a much lower rate than other kids.
Maybe these kids should become Christians then.
They’ve plenty of footballer role models, with at least 7 in the Manly side.

  12. Lee says:

But I would argue two things anyway: the in-your-face vulgar, revolting behaviour of out-and-‘proud’ homosexuals today would not do anything for their self-esteem

I would say it doesn’t help their “cause” with the general public either, with many people turned right off in utter disgust.

  15. NoFixedAddress says:

One thing Roberts kept saying “kids out in the suburbs”sounds a bit like he doesn’t come from nor live in the suburbs.

  16. Lee says:

Because darker skinned people can’t make decisions or form opinions themselves because of whiteys’ influence.
The usual patronising racism of low expectations from the left.

    Lee nailed it.
