Be nice to avoid all politics with this important site.
On the other hand right now everything is fraught. Presumably even lighting the Shrine with white light would be racist and Greens would object to the Eternal Flame putting CO2 into the atmosphere.
Probably the best thing is to stop special honouring of particular groups and keep it for celebrating all service people together. That would be truly inclusive.
Oh, that’s unfair, what about a special ceremony for the aboriginal soldiers?
This is dangerous for the LGBT people, it is divisive an history will remember them for doing this.
Of course the normal percentage of gay men served and suffered and died in the same horrible ways. They served in the trenches together, on the sea, in the sky, and a thousand other less painful or more mundane ways. They served together, they died together, they died for each other, they were brothers all. And they loved each other, as soldiers always love their brothers, though they would never say it of course.
A soldiers love for his brother in arms is true love, and obviously not sexual.
God Damn them
👏👏👏

Yet here he is promoting homos. Hamburgers bad. Sodomy good.
It is Afdanistan after all
Imagine the howls of woke outrage if the proposal was to project Christian symbols onto the Shrine in commemoration of Christians in the armed services.
