They would get better mileage diverting her flight to mainland Taiwan and holding her hostage. Or at least pretend hostage, already paid for.

  2. Roger W says:

Could Joe and kamala fly with her?
    Just asking…

And all the top leaders and stooges (including Klaus Schwab) of the WEF.

  4. Jannie says:

Nancy Pelosi is a strong modern woman, with real principles, a beacon of democracy in difficult times. She knows what she is doing and is not going to let the Chinese bully her, in fact she will teach them a lesson, as well as the cowardly deplorable naysayers. I absolutely support her in this thoughtful and honourable gesture in the name of the Democrat West. Go Nancy!

  5. Morsie says:

I am actually gobsmacked that the US military has warned against the visit.

  6. Jannie says:

Yeah, but everybody knows the Chinese are just bluffing and would never dare try to take on the US Air Force.

  7. local oaf says:

Joe didn’t buy too much goodwill from the Chinese with his oil.

Remember when treasonous rat General Milley phoned his opposite number in Beijing to assure him President Trump wouldn’t bomb China, no matter what? Do you think that PLA general has returned the favour this week?

    Nah. He’d be shot.

Sheridan was on Bolt last week saying how much he admired Pelosi for her attempt to start another war. Pelosi has the excuse of being a senile 82 year-old. I’m not sure what Sheridan’s excuse is.

How anyone could admire Pelosi – an execrable and miserable excuse for a human being – is beyond me.
Pelosi and Sheridan are classic examples of wisdom not always coming with age.

If any officer carried out an act like that under Biden he’d be up on charges tout de suite and facing court martial.

  11. C.L. says:

In any other American era, Milley would have been prosecuted as a spy, cashiered and sent to prison. In the nineteenth century, he would have been hanged.

  12. Lee says:

I’d almost bet my bottom dollar that Sheridan was one of those keen for Trump to be kicked out and replaced by Biden, because, among other reasons, Trump “could start World War III” (a common refrain from the left).

  13. Lee says:

What amazes me is the lack of outrage and condemnation of Milley’s actions, compared with, say, it happening under a Democrat administration.
BTW, and IIRC, while Trump was still president, Pelosi was communicating with at least one senior general behind Trump’s back.

Nance P’Lousy, the Star Spangled Nana, is going to visit Taiwan.
What, for a photo op? “Hey kid, get outta my way!”

    Haa Haaaaaaaaaa

  15. and says:

Trump has sent Nance a travelling gift… a “Maverick”-style, leather bomber jacket with a big red and white target on the back. Well, he told her it was sponsored by Target.

  16. NoFixedAddress says:

    The CHIPS legislation.

  17. and says:

    Taiwan, get one free.

    🙂

  18. Perplexed of Brisbane says:

If China carry out their threat it could signal a new friendship between them and the USA.

  19. Jannie says:

I don’t think the military should have any say in her decision to go, either way, except to provide advice to the civilian government of likely outcomes. That said, Alexander Mercouris reckons that there really are some in the lunar MIC wing of the military that want her to do it. But the majority and most influential quarters of the military are having puppies about the implications of her airhead pronouncements, and wont let her go, never mind sending the Airforce to ride shotgun for her.

Lee, your money is safe, could bet your house on it as well.

  23. Petros says:

Dementia comes with age for a lot of people too.

  24. Jannie says:

Oh dear. It looks like she might go after all. Its between her and the military and the CIA. Something is missing here.

  25. Gab says:

Seen elsewhere, Pelosi actually said she was going to ”tie one on”, not Taiwan.
