  1. Cassie of Sydney says:

And I suspect it is either Vietman or Slug from Brisbane.

  2. Lee says:

About the only one I am confident is a real person is Homer P/Not Trampis/Non Mentis. Also, his semi-literacy is too ingrained to enable him to operate sock puppets. The rest? Who can tell, but they seem to be on the same talking points list as m0nty-fa.

    I agree, John.

Really, you’re just full of it. And you deserve to be told.

    Projecting again.

  3. Boambee John says:

    Falsies

    In relation to the warrant,

    Trump said:

Not only will I not oppose the release of documents related to the unAmerican, unwarranted, and unnecessary raid and break-in of my home in Palm Beach, Florida, Mar-a-Lago, I am going a step further by ENCOURAGING the immediate release of those documents,

  4. Prospero says:

And yet he has multitudes of the fascist left running around

    etc

He is only there because of the cowardly and utterly immoral decision of key figures in the Republican Party to keep quiet and ride into power on the coat tails of his corrupt populism. Now they can’t work out how to dump him and keep his low IQ base, so they pretend to love him, and maybe after a time some of them have fooled themselves into thinking he really is a credible politician.

But the truth is already clear – he is going down as a historically bad US President, and a complete jackass of a person, and the long term embarrassment is going to be that the Party got behind him for cynical, power grabbing reasons.

  5. Buccaneer says:

It is embarrassing how much leftists focus on Trump, particularly given he was a paid up Clinton supporter for a good chunk of his life.

If they all ignored him for a while I am certain he would trip over his narcissism. US politics is a bit of a clown show all around, I used to think there were some smart people in there but apparently not.

Prepo, it’s embarrassing to keep telling us Trump is dumber than you when he has been successful at so many things including being the President at the US and you are just a loser keyboard jockey trying to upset an anonymous group of people you clearly hate.

  6. Prospero says:

Prepo, it’s embarrassing to keep telling us Trump is dumber than you when he has been successful at so many things

All involving grifting, mainly. Look, I’m not the one who thinks the US should buy Greenland and nuke hurricanes, that wind turbines cause cancer, obsesses over toilet flushes, and thinks hairspray is more important that the ozone layer.

He’s just really dumb and uninterested in getting smarter, and lots of people who tried to work for him in the White House found out and confirmed.

  7. Boambee John says:

    Cassie

Unless the Numerical Nitwit has improved his self discipline in relation to mentioning the unmentionable place, I think that Slug wins the prize. He was kicked off the old Cat before my time, so I am not familiar with his style, but both Passing Wind and Preposterous share a similar fascist left disdain for the truth and reluctance to provide actual evidence.

  8. Hugh says:

Um, perhaps I’m not up to speed: why is the U.S. buying Greenland such a bad idea?

  9. Boambee John says:

    Perverse Preposterous

Look, I’m not the one who thinks the US should buy Greenland

IIRC, the President who bought Alaska was also derided by the “great and the good” (self appointed) of the day.

  10. Passing By says:

Cassie: you’re not coping princess. The fact you are stuck in a trump meme is your issue.
Twostix: the effort to promote despots might seem successful. But only if you count Putin and Xi and erdogan and Kim. Not so much in the US, australia, France, Canada or Germany. For example.

  11. Passing By says:

BJ: seems to me that it’s you who has very clear preferences for undoing democratic process. I can’t imagine how you cope with living in Australia.

  12. Buccaneer says:

It must be tough Prepo, to realise that someone you think is dumb will go down in history as someone of so much more importance than yourself. No wonder you’re so bent out of shape. Perhaps you could get some help for that…

  13. Boambee John says:

    Passing Wind

BJ: seems to me that it’s you who has very clear preferences for undoing democratic process. I can’t imagine how you cope with living in Australia.

    Standard fascist left projection, ROFLMAO.

  14. Cassie of Sydney says:

    “Boambee John says:
    12 August, 2022 at 5:43 pm”

    My money is on Slug.

  15. Prospero says:

It must be tough Prepo, to realise that someone you think is dumb will go down in history as someone of so much more importance than yourself.

“Importance”? Any leader of a significant nation is more “important” in history than me. I’m just here speaking truth to power. Or truth to twits. However that saying goes.

  16. Prospero says:

Hey Cassie, so you like TS Elliott. Bit of a step up from the only poem Trump knows:

Take me in oh tender woman,” sighed the snake
“I saved you,” cried that woman
“And you’ve bit me even, why?
You know your bite is poisonous and now I’m going to die”
“Oh shut up, silly woman,” said the reptile with a grin
“You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in

BTW: Jews who approve of xenophobic fear mongering for political gain don’t have much street cred in my books.

  17. Buccaneer says:

Truth to power, nice one, you truly are a space cadet

  18. Passing By says:

Trump would already be in jail if he was a common citizen. DoJ has allowed a year for him to return docs. His refusal to do so is now an extra problem for him. Question will be whether it’s section 793 or 794 of espionage act that gets him.
Luckily for Trump he appointed his own Supreme Court. So nothing to worry about.

  19. Boambee John says:

    Perverse Preposterous

I’m just here speaking truth to power.

Your “truth”, which is not necessarily the truth.

Also, a pompous saying, much loved of the media and other liars.

  20. Cassie of Sydney says:

Thanks for revealing yourself, Slug of Brisbane. You’re quite a sicko, a stalker and you’re obsessed. You should get help. And as for your last comment, very revealing. I suspect Jews don’t rate much in your repulsive little word. You’re a Jew hater.

  21. Lee says:

Trump would already be in jail if he was a common citizen.

You could say the same for Hillary.

  22. Boambee John says:

    Passing Wind

Trump would already be in jail if he was a common citizen.

As indeed would both Clintons, Comey, McCabe, Brennan, Mueller (see Boston), the FBI agent who “organised” the Whitmer kidnap hoax, the copper who killed the unarmed woman in the Capitol, most of the BLM organisers, and a multitude of other political figures in the US, but they are not common citizens either.

  23. Cassie of Sydney says:

    Preposterous reeks misogyny and racism.

  24. Prospero says:

Slug of Brisbane sounds like a fine fellow. Lulz.

Just admit it – Donald reciting a kids song/poem was ultra cringe and patently designed to vilify (for political gain) the unfortunate folk looking for a better life in the USA. Instead of flashing up mental images of rats, he went with snakes instead. Truly disgusting behaviour, and one of the many fascist friendly things that should have disqualified him from ever reaching the Presidency.

You down with Orban declaring that racial purity is the goal, too?

BTW: 2020 research from Texas showed illegal migrants had about half the crime rate of native borne Americans. But who needs facts, when you can win on dumb populist ignorance and appeal to fear of the “other”.

  25. Cassie of Sydney says:

Memo to Slug of Brisbane, keep up the misogyny and racism. You’re good at it.

  26. Boambee John says:

    Perverse Preposterous

unfortunate folk looking for a better life in the USA

But willing to start the better life off by breaking the law, but only as a sign of respect for their new home.

PS, Oddly New York and Washington DC seem less than enthusiastic about these seekers of a better life doing it in their jurisdictions. Clearly Trump lovers.

  27. Cassie of Sydney says:

“You down with Orban declaring that racial purity is the goal, too?”

LOL. You just can’t help yourself. I bring out the real unhinged slug.

    Carry on slug.

  28. Prospero says:

Get over yourself, Cassie. Stop pretending you’re some Platonic ideal for the essence of your People and Womanhood, so that you can claim any and all criticism is an Attack on the Very Idea of being Jewish and a Woman.

  29. Cassie of Sydney says:

“Get over yourself, Cassie. Stop pretending you’re some Platonic ideal for the essence of your People and Womanhood, so that you can claim any and all criticism is an Attack on the Very Idea of being Jewish and a Woman.”

Oh yes, Slug is off the leash. And obsessed with Jews. Carry on slug.

  30. Prospero says:

You probably don’t realise, but you try to use identity politics as a shield, like the people on the Left you hate for doing the same.

  31. Prospero says:

Apart from the Orthodox, who are (shall we say) somewhat eccentric in their lifestyle, and which I assume you are not, most Jews are plenty liberal and know a real snake (Trump) when they see one.

  32. Cassie of Sydney says:

“You probably don’t realise, but you try to use identity politics as a shield, like the people on the Left you hate for doing the same.”

LOL, keep going Sluggy. Oh and I don’t hate people on the left, you on the other hand, Slug, drip hate towards people on the right.

  33. Cassie of Sydney says:

“Apart from the Orthodox, who are (shall we say) somewhat eccentric in their lifestyle, and which I assume you are not, most Jews are plenty liberal and know a real snake (Trump) when they see one.”

Nope, wrong, funny how Slug now professes to know how Jews vote…..he knows. Hmm, and what’s “eccentric” about Orthodox Jews and their lifestyle…Slug…go on, tell us? Most Jews in Oz, the UK, France and Canada are not “plenty liberal”….they vote for right of centre parties.

    Carry on Slug…you sanctimonious hypocrite.

  34. Prospero says:

and I don’t hate people on the left

Oh yes, your equanimity towards them is famous. [Insert eyeroll emoji]

  35. Boambee John says:

    Perverse Preposterous

    Carry on Slug…you sanctimonious hypocrite.

And while you are at it, tell us how racist those people in New York and DC are for not wanting to welcome “the unfortunate folk looking for a better life in the USA” into their communities.

  36. Boambee John says:

    Perverse Preposterous

Oh yes, your equanimity towards them is famous. [Insert eyeroll emoji]

Are we allowed to insert an eyeroll emoji after each of your effusions of disdain (at best) for anyone with whom you have a political difference?

  37. Cassie of Sydney says:

“Oh yes, your equanimity towards them is famous. “

I don’t even hate you Sluggy, you’re a joke. I pity you, filled as you are with misogynism and racism.

Oh and Sluggy, tell us…what’s “eccentric” about Orthodox Jews and their lifestyle? Cmon.

  38. Boambee John says:

    Cassie

    I don’t even hate you Sluggy, you’re a joke.

As I wrote elsewhere in relation to m0nty-fa, you have to know someone personally to hate them. It is possible, however, to hold a bunch of pixels on a screen in comtempt.

  39. Prospero says:

Yawn. I’m busy enjoying the Have You Been Paying Attention replay, Cassie. Full of amusing liberal people. Humour, like science, has a strong left wing bias, so you wouldn’t enjoy it.

  40. Cassie of Sydney says:

“Yawn. I’m busy enjoying the Have You Been Paying Attention replay, Cassie. Full of amusing liberal people. Humour, like science, has a strong left wing bias, so you wouldn’t enjoy it.”

Yawn yawn, poor old Sluggy of Brisbane, being a misogynist and racist is sooooo tiring, isn’t it? But you’re a natural at it.

You were banned from Sinclair’s site, who was quite tolerant of slugs like you but even your nastiness and bitterness was too much.

Oh and Sluggy, you still haven’t answered “what’s so eccentric about Orthodox Jews and their lifestyle?

  41. Boambee John says:

    Perverse Preposterous

Humour, like science, has a strong left wing bias, so you wouldn’t enjoy it.

ROFLMAO, you really are a pompous ass.

Good science is politically neutral, pursuing the correct answer, not the politically correct one.

Leftist humour, ROFLMAO again, trying to fit a laugh into the latest politically correct position is painful to watch. Leftists can’t even meme.

  42. Lee says:

You were banned from Sinclair’s site, who was quite tolerant of slugs like you but even your nastiness and bitterness was too much.

What was his screen name there, Cassie?
Having asked that, he may have been banned before I first frequented Catallaxy, about four or so years ago.

  43. Cassie of Sydney says:

“What was his screen name there, Cassie?
Having asked that, he may have been banned before I first frequented Catallaxy, about four or so years ago.”

His screen name was “Steve from Brisbane”. I prefer the name “Slug from Brisbane”….but perhaps that’s unfair to slugs.

  44. Lee says:

His screen name was “Steve from Brisbane”.

    Thanks, Cassie.
I don’t recall him there, but he may have been before my time.
But, Trampis has cited him as some sort of authority on at least few occasions here.
    Enough said!

  45. Prospero says:

“Sluggy” is uncomfortably close to “sluggo”, which for some reason reminds me of failed Liberal leaders. I remain instead, therefore, an old man of magic and wisdom, Prospero, willing to forgive all, if only you could stop being arrogantly stupid.

  46. Hugh says:

    Actually, Australia should buy Greenland.

We need a cold water port in the North Atlantic.

  47. Boambee John says:

    Perverse Preposterous

“if only you could stop being arrogantly stupid”

You first, old person of possible cis-male birth.

  48. Passing By says:

Now appears trump kept nuclear secrets in his basement. Why? Maybe for fun nights at dinner with his buddies? A few nuclear strategy papers to entertain the golf buddies?
He’ll likely go to jail for being an idiot as much as a grubby spiv.

  49. Prospero says:

Apart from the news that Trump was sitting on TS documents despite months of requests to hand over everything, he is a shocking serial liar and bullshit artist who should never be believed on any bullshit smokescreen claim:

Since the FBI search of his Florida home and club this week for classified documents, Trump has asserted in social media posts that Obama “kept 33 million pages of documents, much of them classified” and that they were “taken to Chicago by President Obama.”

In its statement, NARA said that it obtained “exclusive legal and physical custody” of Obama’s records when he left office in 2017. It said that about 30 million pages of unclassified records were transferred to a NARA facility in the Chicago area and that they continue to be maintained “exclusively by NARA.”

Classified records from Obama are kept in a NARA facility in Washington, the statement said.

“As required by the [Presidential Records Act], former President Obama has no control over where and how NARA stores the Presidential records of his Administration,” the statement said.

Despite the official statement, Trump continued to peddle his false claims

  50. Not Trampis says:

confirmation that Tillerson was correct about Trump.
A President who wants to de-classify documents goes back to the original department and asks them if they have any objections, see any problems etc.
NO department would want to de-classify top secret documents because they are top secret.
If Trump had de-classified any of the documents taken then he would have forwarded this to the DOJ on the original subpoena.
    He would produce it now.
    He has not done this.

It is obvious some people do not know the difference between some sort of authority and a person who has linked an article. That is why they are deplorables
