  1. Lee says:

No doubt some of them identify as women anyway.
Well, if it is good enough for sports and every other field, why not politics?

There is a simple answer for all the whining leftists; ABC types like Karvelas can vote for their local Liberal or National female candidate, instead of the Greens or Labor at every election.

  2. Buccaneer says:

She helped vote all the women out of the libs.

  3. NoFixedAddress says:

So, basically women are hopeless at politics!

Is this what the fervid fantasists saying?

Lucky some of the women in my family never knew.

  4. C.L. says:

It’s certainly a lot easier being a female Labor MP. Every reasonably prominent female conservative I can think of was beaten up remorselessly by the left.

  5. NoFixedAddress says:

    C.L.

Would you mind indicating a link to their ABC articles in your notation?

I resent providing a traffic ‘click’ to the scum organization and its my fault for not checking the link address before ‘tapping’ through but I loathe them. for what they have become.

  6. NoFixedAddress says:

    LOL

But I appreciate you check on what the scum are saying.

  7. cuckoo says:

Seas of men? Is that anything like ‘binders full of women’?

  8. Not Trampis says:

I admit I cannot stand her but where does she say it affects the standard of living.

    Are you simply trumping agaain.

  9. Petros says:

Great point, Buccaneer. They attack Peta Credlin, for example, and then complain that the Libs don’t have enough women in their ranks.

  10. C.L. says:

I admit I cannot stand her but where does she say it affects the standard of living.

Your trolling is so 2004, Trampo.

Great point, Buccaneer. They attack Peta Credlin, for example, and then complain that the Libs don’t have enough women in their ranks.

Deves, Hanson, B. Bishop, , Flo, Gladys, etc etc. All of them vilified by the ABC, the ALP and the lumpen left.

Labor women are sheep who are treated like diversity hires – provided they toe the line. If they don’t toe the line, they’ll be driven to illness and death like Kimberly Kitching.

  11. Buccaneer says:

I’m sure Karavelas can point us to where she strenuously defended Nicolle Flint’s right to run for and stand in parliament from all those misogynist attacks. You know, just like Julia Gillard said she would…

She might also point out all the times she has stood up for the significant women of history being recast as trans or some other letter of the alphabet.

  12. Not Trampis says:

Mate I am not the one lying about what she said. you are again and have been caught out.

  13. twostix says:

The “grim” 2016 report found the lack of female candidates had a direct correlation with a declining female vote, Senator Reynolds said.

QLD Liberals flooded the state election with “I want to speak to the manager” middled karens all over the place and were destroyed.

  14. C.L. says:

Mate I am not the one lying about what she said. you are again and have been caught out.

    Get help.

  15. Not Trampis says:

you should, you lied about the article, you have produced no evidence to back you up.

go on show she was talking about cost of living.

you just can’t lie about something old son.

    you have trumpitis

  16. RacerX says:

“I admit I cannot stand her but where does she say it affects the standard of living.”

Strange how the only mention of ‘standard of living’ in the thread is your comment Trampy.

  17. Not Trampis says:

check out the title of the article!!!!!!!

  18. Fred says:

Funny how the ‘more women in parliament’ brigade always overlook Pauline Hanson. In fact, they have been trying to get rid of her for a couple of decades.

  19. Lee says:

Funny how the ‘more women in parliament’ brigade always overlook Pauline Hanson. In fact, they have been trying to get rid of her for a couple of decades.

Not to mention women in the LNP!
Nicolle Flint was literally hounded out by the baying left mob.

  20. Petros says:

Perhaps the Libs should advertise for women to join their political party. The ad should include a caveat that the media and ALP will berate them, ridicule them, bully them, etc.

  21. Cassie of Sydney says:

As far as the left is concerned, conservative women are fair game.

  22. Lee says:

As far as the left is concerned, conservative women are fair game.

Despite the left’s hypocritical, years-long refrain: “there aren’t enough women on the Coalition frontbench!”
They would rather have a Labor government frontbench entirely of males than a Coalition government dominated by women.

  23. Prospero says:

As far as the left is concerned, conservative women are fair game.

On the other hand, Cassie, I have long noticed the exemplary and respectful treatment that conservatives/right wingers here and in America have given to Julia (get in the sack) Gillard, Penny (won’t be taken seriously as foreign minister)Wong, Nancy (she’s the drunk who doesn’t drink) Pelosi, Hillary (lock her up) Clinton, Alexandria (dumb bartender above her station) Ocasio-Cortez, and that’s just the beginning.

I’m sure you can give me many, many other examples of fine credit being given to women on the Left of politics by the respectful, non sexist Right.

  24. Boambee John says:

    Perverse Preposterous

Lay off the “whataboutism”. There seems to be an endless supply of it on both sides.

PS, there were many examples thirty or more years ago, involving both men and women, before the fascist left turned politics into a “my way or the highway” blood sport.

  25. Prospero says:

    Lay off the “whataboutism”.

Very funny. Would barely be a blog here without it.

  26. Boambee John says:

One as self-proclaimed pure as you should lead by example.

  27. Petros says:

Nice try, Prospero. None of those women copped it from many sources in the MSM, unlike the conservative women.

  28. Lee says:

Alexandria (dumb bartender above her station) Ocasio-Corte

Very accurate description in her case.
When asked by a reporter where the trillions of dollars for her extremely grandiose, absolutely insane green rebuilding plans for America were coming from, her reply was: “from Congress”!

  29. Tel says:

… Julia (get in the sack) Gillard …

Have you got a link for the “get in the sack” comment … or you just made that up?

Who in particular were you accusing there?

  30. Prospero says:

I should have sad “chaff bag” . So sue me.

  31. NoFixedAddress says:

You don’t have to like the music but this is what OUR ABC could once do.

  32. NoFixedAddress says:

    Full version

  33. Tel says:

I should have sad “chaff bag” . So sue me.

I thought at first your “get in the sack” phrase might be somehow referring to the woman’s tendency towards promiscuity with married men. Needed to look up the “chaff bag” comment … which was an insult thrown ten years ago by Alan Jones at both Julia Gillard, and also Bob Brown. Apparently no one cares enough about Bob Brown to feel sorry for him … but Jones did eventually apologize to Gillard … and I can’t find too many conservatives who were supportive of that particular insult. I must have not been paying sufficient attention at the time, I don’t even remember it.

Alan Jones first got on the radio in the 1980’s and he still runs a podcast I believe … he’s insulted a lot of people over that time and sure there’s been a few occasions where he overstepped the mark. He does mostly talk about the issues, but he is a colourful chap and it’s his job to entertain the audience. You wouldn’t need to go far on Twitter to find plenty of people throwing every bit as nasty comments … your average Leftist never apologizes either. So there are a handful of well known conservative shock jocks who like to stir up a fuss now and then. You really think those guys represent a serious threat to anyone in politics?

  34. Cassie of Sydney says:

“but Jones did eventually apologize to Gillard …”

Jones did indeed apologise. I’m quite sure Mike Carlton has never apologised to Nicolle Flint for tweeting that Flint “should be strangled”.

  35. Cassie of Sydney says:

I also note that no progressive raised an eyebrow at the harassment Nicolle Flint endured during and after the 2019 election campaign, Flint was stalked, threatened, had faeces thrown at her electoral office, had “skank” painted on her electoral office etc etc.

  36. Buccaneer says:

I’m pretty sure Prepo hasn’t apologised to anyone here for his constant unnecessary insults either. So it’s really an observation with no genuine concern for anyone or anything in particular.

  37. Not Trampis says:

I see as usual CL could not provide a shred of evidence that Karvelas’s statement had anything to do with the cost of living.

He is the true son of Trump

  38. RacerX says:

check out the title of the article!!!!!!!”

I did Trampy, last I looked standard of living and cost of living are very different things.

  39. Boambee John says:

    Perverse Preposterous

Still ignoring the questions at the Scientists admit thread. What’s the problem, too difficult for you?

  40. Prospero says:

Just noticed this at Dover Beach’s blog:

    Elizabeth (Lizzie) Bearesays:
    August 16, 2022 at 7:08 pm
biden is a moth eaten sock puppet and kamala is a spent condom

    Harsh, but them’s the breaks

    .

Yes, the Right is full of respect for Lefty women politicians, hey Cassie? Maybe you need to have a word to them.

  41. Boambee John says:

    Perverse Preposterous

Having turned politics into a blood sport (see Antony “I fight Tories” Albanese for a very recent example of a long term trend), the left should lead the way. Cassie has given plenty of examples of lefty abuse of conservative women, too many for turning the other cheek to continue.

  42. Prospero says:

No personal hypocrisy too great for you to excuse, hey Blowie.

I’ll wait for Cassie to arrive and claim mysogny against her now, just like trans activities scream “transphobe!”.

  43. Boambee John says:

    Perverse Preposterous

Hypocrisy? Still waiting for you to condemn the left’s treatment of conservative women. Then you can revert to your usual distraction squirrel of accusing others of what you do yourself.

PS, still unwilling (or unable) to respond to matters raised on the Scientists admit thread? Sad, low energy.

  44. Prospero says:

    You play stupid games.

I’m not the one making vile sexist attacks on left leaning women politicians. Your buddies here are.
