Do you ever watch those video clips of some guy asking young college age Americans really hard questions , like what’s the capital of America, what ocean is off the east coast etc and they haven’t a clue, they giggle and look only a tiny bit sheepish.
Then the guy will ask a few questions about the Kardashians and they know every answer.
It is past time to really rethink how or even why we ally with the Americans.
Yeah, I saw one of those vox pops at a UCLA campus.
One of the questions (IIRC) was, “what country is Europe in?”
Most of the featured respondents couldn’t shed light on the subject.
Such idiocy isn’t restricted to American students; Plibersek once referred to Africa as a “country.”
