Make Albion Great Again

What Arthur Scargill was to her role model, climateer Tories are to her. Good luck with that.

I hate rodents. I mean, the House of Commons is completely infested. I will stand on a chair if I see one of the things.”

I read some of her quotes about economic freedom, if she meant them and still does, she’s not all bad.

    Channeling her inner Bob Marley.

I was struck by how many of her quotes were feminist lady-whining.

  4. rosie says:

Well there were some of those. I wonder how many were responses to feminist lady journalist whining?
I don’t know anything about her, tbh.

She has been trussed into the limelight as far as I am concerned.

the tories didn’t have a great choice. Truss most certainly doesn’t have much intellectual power but you do not need it to be successful. Just look at Thatcher. She knew her limitations and relied on joseph for her ideological position.
Truss like the rest has to defend brexit which is unambiguously bad for Britain. It is bad because it increased trade barriers

Yes, just look at Thatcher. The woman who won a scholarship to Oxford where she took a degree in chemistry specialising in X-ray crystallography.

The British people made their choice, it is not for you to be a pompous idiot about that choice. They might have had a better idea about the downside of the EU than you do.

    Same here, Rosie.

In 2000, Truss married Hugh O’Leary, a fellow accountant; the couple have two daughters. From 2004 until mid-2005, she had an extramarital affair with the married MP Mark Field, whom the Conservative Party had appointed as her political mentor. However, her marriage with O’Leary survived the affair.

    That’s some dedicated mentoring.
