The Huli Wigmen of Papua New Guinea are still talking about it

I think its power has been that there are millions of women who have lived through sexist experiences, misogynistic experiences. And at 3am they’re going, ‘Oh, I wish I’d said that, I should have given it back to him, I shouldn’t have taken it.’ And it’s a speech that helps capture the frustrations of those moments.”

She kept silent among labour movement neanderthals for 20 years but is proud of smearing a good man as a woman hater

I see Hillary is firing up again…

Are the coven looking for a re-run?

    Watch your back PM Albo!

  2. C.L. says:

Nah. Labor leaders are always safe from the sisterhood.

    And the Himba of Namibia.

  4. Perfidious Albino says:

Clinton Foundation had a big get together in NYC this week I think, hence they’re all feeling empowered enough to float to the surface again…

  5. Bruce of Newcastle says:

Given how much mud she throws at men I think you mean the Asaro Mudmen.

  6. cuckoo says:

I promise you, since that speech men think twice about looking at their watch while a woman is speaking!

  7. cuckoo says:

Was there ever a truer word than that uttered by her former employer: “Julia Gillard; the sooner she goes, the better.”

  8. Terry says:

Remember, we get the representatives we deserve.
Gillard is right up there on a long list of contemptible misanthropes that have fallen into the “top job”.
She and her ilk reflect badly on the people that put her there.

We have the space. There is no reason to have a shortage of prisons for these people.
Their pensions and perks alone would likely fund it for eternity.

  9. Not Trampis says:

    Smear Abbott. didn’t have to.
This is the man who wanted to dance on Brogden’s grave except he survived. This was the man who said islam needed a reformation but di not believe in the actual reformation.
This was a man out of his depth.
Those stupid NSW right advisors thought it wouldn’t matter if the ALP fought with each other Abbott would never win as leader.
    Wrong.
tturned out to be the worst PM since Bruce

I promise you, since that speech men think twice about looking at their watch while a woman is speaking!

Sometimes I make a point if it.

  11. Buccaneer says:

Gillard was never actually really elected, she rolled the hopeless Krudd, a man whose planning skills extended to doodles on a beer coaster, then proceeded to minority government against a guy the resident imbecile says was the worst PM in history.

Well, by your measure then, Trampis, she is worse.

  12. RacerX says:

    “Smear Abbott. didn’t have to.”

Correct the speech was supposed to be a response to issues around Peter Slipper, should have stayed on topic.

  13. Shy Ted says:

Where’s the tribute to John McTernan for writing the speech?

  14. C.L. says:

Still nothing on why Albo’s wife sent him packing on Christmas Day.

  15. Boambee John says:

    RacerX

She couldn’t stay on the topic of the vile Slipper, she was sponsoring him!

  16. Terry says:

‘turned out to be the worst PM since Bruce’

Hahahaha. Yep. Sure… Rudd, Gillard, Turnbull, Scomo, AnAl. Throw in Howard post-2001 as well.

What a trip ‘Retardville’ must be to exist in – total clown show – hahaha.

No one excels at unintended comedy like a Leftard.

  17. C.L. says:

It’s hard to go past Saddam Hussein’s mate, Gough Whitlam.
A QC outsmarted by a Queensland Premier who left school at 13.

  18. Entropy says:

That Gillard’s speech was actually about defending Peter Slipper and his actual treatment of women by deflecting onto Abbott and inventing his mistreatment of women shows how bereft of morality is a modern politician. And they pretend to represent us.

  19. rosie says:

    The ‘actual reformation’.
    Thanks for that.
How many reformations have the reformationers reformed since then, 30,000? 40,000?

  20. rosie says:

I reflect on that Gillard speech every day.
    Truly.

Cuckoo at 8.37am and Entropy at 9.15am have got to the heart of it…

Every self-obsessed sheila (and bloke for that matter) hates not being taken very very seriously. Looking at your watch, or reading the form guide for the races, or dropping a very loud fart while THEY are pontificating really upsets them. Who could not want a few hours of their magnificence: be bored shyteless by their rhetorical flourishes?

Ok, so Tony probably did it inadvertently and was caught by the harridan, or maybe he is from the Entropy school where they have no f’*cks to give. Either way, Gillard has always been the epitome of a monstrous fishmonger’s wife, so what’s new about this latest inanity?
