That time Joe Biden accidentally said the terrorist part out loud

Comedically, the Ghost of Kiev was hard to beat but his reign is over. I give you Kremlin frogmen.

  1. Entropy says:

Imagine if you will a US president that had family interests in Ukrainian gas pipelines….

    Bwaahahhahha!

  2. Entropy says:

More seriously, I reckon shoddy construction is just as likely. The seismic tremor could have just been the pipe seams letting go and rupturing the concrete, triggering the next bit of shoddy work.

  3. NoFixedAddress says:

It would be those Kremlin frogmen destroying USA food processing facilities and 4 BP oil installations…

Kermit has a lot to answer for.

  4. Baba says:

If the Russians had the assets in place to blow up the Nordstream pipelines why didn’t they blow up the newly commissioned Baltic pipeline instead? That would have hurt Europe and maintained Russian leverage.

Why are we not hearing threats being made to Russia of consequences if they blow up the Baltic pipeline?

The US/EU/NATO/media narrative is transparent hogwash.

Simultaneous failure of two pipelines of different ages?

  6. Entropy says:

You realise breaks in pipelines happen and never get reported? And the same people built both pipelines.

I would not rule out workmanship.

If it is sabotage, only ones to benefit that I can think of is for countries that supply gas to Europe other than Russia.

  7. Foo Fighter says:

The pipeline is 4cm steel with 6cm concrete skin. It is insiected regularly by robotics. There was no earthquake. So it seems very likely that not one but three leaks were caused by a deliberate action.

  8. Foo Fighter says:

A lot of folk here very keen to conclusion of who didn’t do it.

  9. Boambee John says:

Another semi-literate contribution from Foo. Is he a sock of the other semi-literate contributor, Non Mentis?

  10. Buccaneer says:

It’s a particularly bad look, regardless of how this might have happened, that a US president, sentient or not, made an implied threat against this pipeline.

We heard incessantly while Trump was President how much words matter, and they do. Particularly when nuclear war is being discussed, who in the mainstream media will keep Biden honest?

  11. cuckoo says:

I actually heard one of the media’s talking head experts refer to “underwater submarines” last night.

Really, it’s quite simple. A rogue soviet commander in charge of a new silent ‘caterpillar drive’ submarine has declared war on fossil fuels and is sabotaging pipelines. Don’t worry, Alec Baldwin will be along shortly to kill him with a prop gun.

  12. Foo Fighter says:

Bj: I’m waiting for you to come out as. Lover of Putin.

    LOL.
Let’s hope Alec doesn’t come across a buckaroo.

    Hahaha – love it. Excellent.

  15. Boambee John says:

    Foo

Bj: I’m waiting for you to come out as. Lover of Putin.

Please hold your breath while you are waiting. Purple seems like a suitable facial colour for you. I’ll let you know when you may breathe again.

  16. Not Trampis says:

    Foo has won again.
The imagination of why it has blown up is not hard to fathom except for Putin apologists

  17. Boambee John says:

    Non Mentis

Is Foo a sock puppet of yours? Why else would you be congratulating him/her/xer for a non-comment?

Please join Foo in holding your breath until I admit everything.

  18. Lee says:

Yes, it makes perfect sense for Putin to blow up Russian owned pipelines.
And Biden and Nuland never said (despite declaring so, on camera) “we will bring and end to it if Russia invades Ukraine.”

  19. Buccaneer says:

The Real Trampis is a professional wrongologist, so having him suggest you’re right about something is a bit like a PVO prediction. Whatever the Real Trampis says, the opposite is true.

Never have I seen a person give themselves a nickname as appropriate as Trampis, according to the urban dictionary.

Neither does he, a function of failing pre-school.

  22. Fat Tony says:

BJ – please lay off Trampis and his failing pre-school. It’s just not nice…

Pre-school was the best 5 years of his life.

  23. Foo Fighter says:

Putin’s unhinged speech makes it plain that he’s willing to bring on any disaster so long as he gets his way. Hard to imagine that Russians will go along. And not much sign that his invasion plan is improving.

  24. Foo Fighter says:

Update: Putin loses Lyman two days after he claimed it.
