I love the photograph of Julia flat on her face in India.

    Let alone the ACT one!

  2. RacerX says:

Remind me again of qll Abbott’s misingynistic acts, the article only mentioned he stood in front of a sign calling the then PM a witch. That wasn’t even true in that those with the sign positioned themselves behind him rather than Abbott positioning himself in front of it.

Maybe the one thing the speech did do was signal a new era of dishonesty in the media in support of a marxist/socialist/radical feminist agenda. That dishonesty has flourished so that men can be women and vice versa, our human rights don’t extend to protecting us from experimental injections and white is the new black. I hate to think where we’ll be in another 10 years.

  3. Nos_Pullum says:

Can anyone guess what will be on the menu at the celebratory dinner?

    It’s a type of seafood…

  4. Buccaneer says:

    Were they in a jar?

  5. Terry says:

Yeah, because her self-indulgent, disingenuous dummy-spit was right up there with “I have a dream…”

Maybe the country’s second most loved Fabian Socialist should stick to face-planting on Indian lawns, calling out “misogyny” wherever she doesn’t see it, and completely ignoring it when openly confronted by it.

The useful idiots inspired by her conceited dross are the same gullible fools wearing rainbow-coloured propeller hats to halt sea-level rise.

    Send in the Clowns.

  6. Terry says:

‘Can anyone guess what will be on the menu at the celebratory dinner?’

No, but I understand there is a secret celebratory chef, Peter “someone”, busily shucking away…

  7. Syd Gal says:

The story mentions it briefly (and so did Karvelas on the radio this morning when interviewing Gillard) the day of the speech was the day legislation was passed cutting welfare to single mothers. Interesting that the woman pictured with Higgins’ entourage outside the courts last week, and at March4Justice and NPC address, is from a govt lobbying firm and is a former advisor to D Andrews and J Gillard as per her profile on the site.

  8. C.L. says:

The JFK assassination-style “where were you when it happened?” theme.
    LOL.

  9. Shy Ted says:

Any updates on the $400m Juliar purloined for the Global education Fund? Improvements in education in the third world? Thought not.

  10. C.L. says:

What ever happened to her partner Stedman, by the way?

  11. Bruce of Newcastle says:

I remember she got kicked out of Slugs & Grubs for being naughty.
Takes real talent to achieve something like that.
    I’m not a feminist but.

  12. vlad redux says:

those with the sign positioned themselves behind him rather than Abbott positioning himself in front of it

And I wonder camera angles and perspectives. It may be that the camera exaggerated the proximity.

  13. Not Trampis says:

well rudd successfully beat the GFC, gillard had the price on carbon and the NDIS, can’t think of anything Abbott could crow about, nor for turnbull or morrison.

  14. Buccaneer says:

The only thing Rudd beat was at a strip club in the US. Even teh conversation thinks the NDIS is a failure and now there are class actions on the horizon for people saying they were excluded.

Abbott signed major free trade agreements and got rid of the destructive carbon tax Gillard promised not to bring in, Turncoat gave us Gay Marriage (I thought you at least would approve of that real trampis), Morrison signed the Aukus deal and got rid of those godawful french subs that Trumble saddled us with. I’d list more, but your comprehension skills are so poor, there is no point.

  15. Lee says:

A “misogyny” speech given in defence of a real misogynist.

    Gillard, like KRudd achieved nothing.

  16. Lee says:

Abbott signed major free trade agreements and got rid of the destructive carbon tax Gillard promised not to bring in

Abbott also stopped the boats, and a disastrous Labor policy which even KRudd admitted cost more lives than the “official” figure.

  17. Boambee John says:

    Non Mentis

well rudd successfully beat the GFC,

ROFLMAO. Pink batts, dead installers, and thousands of overpriced “outdoor learning (not teaching) areas, poorly planned libraries and canteens not capable of productive use.

gillard had the price on carbon

“There will be no carbon tax under a government I lead.” A gross lie.

    and the NDIS,

Another money pit for maaaaates. Hardly a triumph.

  18. Not Trampis says:

Lee has no idea of trade diversion and trade creation. Hint read the Productivity commision into any of these ‘free trade’ deals.

Pink batts were not a problem. it was the foiled stuff and houses burnt fell by a factor of 10.
and no the teaching areas were not over priced, who was incapable of reading the report into them.
A price on carbon is not a carbon tax al;though it is not as good. If Abiott had not gotten rid of it we would be experiencing a stable and low priced electricity system now. no need to worry about high prices for coal and gas.

and 10 years og liberal government showed they could not reforrm the NDIS.

  19. Boambee John says:

    Non Mentis

and no the teaching areas were not over priced, who was incapable of reading the report into them.

The references to the BER as the “Builders’ Early Retirement Project” suggest otherwise.

A price on carbon is not a carbon tax al;though it is not as good. If Abiott had not gotten rid of it we would be experiencing a stable and low priced electricity system now. no need to worry about high prices for coal and gas.

    Bridge for sale.

You have some similarities with your fellow leftist m0nty-fa. You both seem to believe that repeating rubbish somehow makes it true.

and 10 years og liberal government showed they could not reforrm the NDIS.

Designed to be so by Gilliard.

  20. Lee says:

Lee has no idea of trade diversion and trade creation.

    I never mentioned the subject.
    Straw man argument.

I was however referring to Labor’s costly open borders policy.

  21. RacerX says:

“well rudd successfully beat the GFC, “

You’re always good for a laugh..

  22. NFA says:

    C.L.

    real Trampis is beyond parody.

  23. Terry says:

‘Pink batts were not a problem’

…unless you were one of the four dead kids (or their families).

Maximus Trampis™ – disgusting swamp troll.

Defending the indefensible, one policy failure at a time.

Demanding reality conform to its delusions, then bleating incessantly at being refused.

  24. Buccaneer says:

Pink batts were not a problem. it was the foiled stuff and houses burnt fell by a factor of 10.

Wrong again, the problem was rubbish installation by outfits that did not train their staff encouraged to enter the market and charge inflated rates by a poorly planned and executed government policy dreamed up by a crackpot who writes plans on beer coasters.

  25. Nos_Pullum says:

Not Trampis is just engaging in a bit of diversion therapy here.

Pick up on a slightly adjacent remark and redirect the conversation away from from whatever topic… in this case Gillard’s own pathetic diversion away from her slimy deal with Slipper.

I accept it was politically necessary for her to install him as Speaker to maintain her grip on government, but to whine about being call out by Abbott for it and then celebrated for whining says everything about that side of politics.

  26. Buccaneer says:

No complaints from me, any time we get to remember the calamities of the rudd gillard rudd years just allows us to refocus on how shite the elbowkneesy blame everyone else crowd will be.

  27. Not Trampis says:

Lee you mentioned free trade agreements duh!

Bucco back from reading graphs. Wrong again. the fires did not come from the pink batts. wow the number of fires fell by a factor of 10 but somehow the costs rose . good to see you logic there.

Terry the four kids were not put there by the Government. They had bosses. In one instance the person disobeyed the boss but you would know that if you know anything about the program.

The report into the BEr clearly show value for money and costs well below the private sector.
Let us see. costs for electricity rose firstly because of privatisaion and recently because of the massive rises in coal and gas prices. Given how much lower renewables are a price on carbon would have meant the recent price rises would have had a negligible affect on our economy.
We could also assume the intermittent power that coal fired power stations produce would be much less now.

Anything new needs to be changed over time but nothing happened.

Oh and lastly did we experience a recession because of the GFC? NO!

It would be nice if you people did at least know something on a topic. at least one topic

  28. Buccaneer says:

I never said anything about pink batts numb nuts. The problems was installers not following the installation instructions for foil insulation. A result of a poorly conceived and executed program.

The federal icac should recommend jail time for baldy when they get the review it.

Looks like they still haven’t found a place for you on the velvet real trampis, no room for short short man.

  29. Boambee John says:

    Non Mentis

The report into the BEr clearly show value for money and costs well below the private sector.

From the Building the Education Revolution Implementation Taskforce Report:

The Building the Education Revolution (BER) Implementation Taskforce today released its interim report, finding that while quality infrastructure has been delivered within the required timeframes, project costs in some areas have been substantially higher than would have been the case before the BER.

Learn to read and add up you illiterate, innumerate, moronic, pre-school failure.

Let us see. costs for electricity rose firstly because of privatisaion and recently because of the massive rises in coal and gas prices. Given how much lower renewables are a price on carbon would have meant the recent price rises would have had a negligible affect on our economy.
We could also assume the intermittent power that coal fired power stations produce would be much less now.

First, would the effect on the economy have, instead, been spread across all the years a price on carbon was applied?

    We could also assume

Second, we could also assume anything (something you do regularly). How valid would the assumption be?

Third, based on your perpetual repetitions, there seems to be only one possible solution. Close all coal and gas powered generators now. Do you agree?

  30. Terry says:

‘Close all coal and gas-powered generators now.’
If the Federal government (at least the current one) did this, it wouldn’t be their fault…

…it would be Tony Abbott’s, of course. Or bosses, or someone. Anyone but the unqualified fools playing with things they do not understand.

  31. Lee says:

Lee you mentioned free trade agreements duh!

I have never mentioned such a topic here, it’s up to you to prove it.

  32. Terry says:

Terry … if you know anything about the program.

I know at least this very important fact about the program:
    * Four kids were killed, that would not have been, had there not been a reckless disregard for consequences and gross incompetence by the ministers that approved it.

    The End.

  33. Lee says:

Trampis, as I wrote before, I never mentioned “free trade agreements” myself.
You are clearly very confused, because all I did was quote Buccaneer as the use of a quote box shows.
If you don’t believe me, see the first sentence from Buccaneer’s second paragraph from 10 October, 2022 at 10:15 am. where I copied and pasted it from.

  34. Buccaneer says:

All the first world countries with large Hydro are the only ones reasonably insulated from the current energy nonsense caused by the transition to unreliable wind and solar. Germany is going back to coal.

Our pollies sold us out to the insane greens years ago, we could have had more dams with fewer likely issues. Dams require less replacement, less land use, fewer rare earth metals and other elements that cause environmental damage.

Once they transition, watch the insane civilization hating greens turn on the dirty, expensive and unreliable ‘renewables’ like they did with plastic shopping bags. I bet they even point out how transmission infrastructure needs to be gold plated and just wait for the outcry about the pollution caused by trillions of tons more lithium batteries.

  35. Diogenes says:

project costs in some areas have been substantially higher than would have been the case before the BER.

In NSW the Education Dept skimmed 10% of the project cost for project management.

If a Principal decided to go it alone and manage the project themself and use local tradies, the P&C President was the decision maker, but the Principal was personally liable for any cost overruns.

  36. Jannie says:

    testing from bunker

  37. Jannie says:

    wow looks like I’m back

  38. Jannie says:

what happened? Did Julia do something?

  39. Jannie says:

Well she changed the pronunciation of hyperbole, and changed the definition of misogynist. Not bad for a warking class labor lawyer.

  40. Diogenes says:

    Heavens, no.

She has just released a book

  41. and says:

She has just released a book

    From a great height?

  42. RacerX says:

” number of fires fell by a factor of 10 “

Have I got this right Trampis, KevinRudd reduced house fires?

  43. Bushkid says:

Ten years on, it still disgusts me.
