  1. Terry says:

Codeine, Ivermectin, and a myriad of other perfectly safe-to-use and beneficial drugs all banned by Nanny.

    Why not paracetamol?

Next, water. Dihydrogen Monoxide kills far more people than Paracetamol, Codeine, and Ivermectin combined.

Good luck trying to take a shower without a prescription (currently a joke, but it’s only 2022 – so, maybe next year).

  2. Bruce of Newcastle says:

The underclass must suffer for Gaia! We the elite are free of pain, and we can graciously bestow such miracles upon those who we favour. So, proles, submit to our enlightened rule or be in agony.

  3. C.L. says:

    There is that.

I’m more interested in why a generation of young women and girls are crying out for help this way. And to think it’s been ten years since the Misogyny Speech.

‘I’m more interested in why a generation of young women and girls are crying out for help this way.’

    Two words: F#(k-ing Tik Tok

It must be because not enough of them are enrolled in STEM subjects. Which is of course the fault of men. But don’t worry, the AFLW ‘pride’ round is coming shortly, which should cheer them up.

Yes, it’s funny that this is happening at the same time as the media, both state and private, relentlessly emphasize women and erase men in their messaging. If you judged my (public service) workplace by the publicity material it puts out, you would assume that it is patronized exclusively by women, and that half of them wear hijabs.

‘If you judged my (public service) workplace by the publicity material it puts out…’

If we immediately terminated every, single marketing/comms department at all levels of government, we’d make an excellent start on repairing out-of-control public expenditure.

The resultant excision of insanity and hysteria from public administration would ensure sensible policy to take care of the rest, and then some.

  7. Pommy Al says:

It won’t be long before you need a permit to go for a crap.
    Breathing to follow.

  8. Wyndham Dix says:

Every day without fail they demonstrate their divinely-ordained unfitness to lead.

We are reaping that sown by witless politicians for two generations.

It may be coincidence or it may not, but it seems to me that that is the predominant demographic of the “we’re all going to die if we don’t do something about climate change!” mob.

Who will look after the pregnant men??

  11. Shy Ted says:

Two words – Borderline Personality Disorder. And how does one get a BPD?
Dodgy numbers of course – there are a lot of people who will present multiple times over the year. 200% increase – they changed the way it’s reported. There’s no doubt that increasing awareness of something is equated with an increase in it’ use. I did this for a living and we routinely asked the, usually teenage girls, how they chose a particular method of self harm – “my friends told me about it”.
young people between 10-24 years accounted for almost half – conveniently ignoring the other 50%+. There’s no comparison between a 10yo and a 24yo.
Typical ABC. Subjectively, on the ground observations, the numbers of paracetamol ODs haven’t changed. Other forms of self harm have. Massively.

  12. Shy Ted says:

Forgot to add. The BPDs routinely take more Panadol than the average for control of tattoo and piercing pain and other lifestyle factors like choosing violent partners and painful practices therein.

  13. Ed Case says:

Panadol doesn’t work as advertised and the Lethal Dose is only twice the Maximum recommended dose.
So, yeah, it is dangerous and shoulda been banned years ago.
    Codeine?
I’ve been told by a Pharmacist that 15 mg is enough to cause physical addiction.
But, so what, it works, and it’s cheap.

Institutionalisation/ sent to daycare at 6 weeks.
    Promotion of the Vegetarian Diet
    Promotion of Low Fat Diets
Virtually all advertising being directed at women/girls.

Bullshit. 12 times the recommended dose is potentially fatal.

  16. Shy Ted says:

Hospital patients are routinely weaned off their stronger analgaesics, replaced with regular doses of Panadol every 4-6 hours. It actually works quite well but certainly isn’t their first choice and it’s a headache for GPs after discharge.
