All voting machines should be banned. At one time I thought that computerised voting would be a good thing. That was when I thought the world was largely honest. Only those that turn up to a booth on the day with I.D should vote. If you can’t make it to a booth on the day, for whatever reason, tough. If holidays, or age, or illness etc get in the way, tough.
As De Gaulle observed after a state visit to Brazil, “It is not a serious country”. Trouble is, so many first world nations are now not far behind it in unseriousness.
