BA graduates tell women what sort of things they want to hear

We want to hear what their experience has been like and how they think abortion should look in Western Australia. This is not a debate about whether abortion is legal or not. It is. Full stop. What we want to do is make sure that it is accessible for women and safe in Western Australia.”

There’s been a lot of rules and regulations around abortion that don’t apply to other health care, other medical procedures, and that’s the sort of feedback that we want to hear during this consultation.”

I suppose they mean there is evidence of real lack of support for women with abortion regret and a failure to offer pre abortion counselling for women who may keep their babies if offered some support.

Timing is interesting… just when news drops of the CCC serving notice to various Labor members and staff to answer inquiries re dodgy direction of resources to election operations, ie Red Shirts WA. Jade-Sanderson told 6PR that it would not be appropriate to comment on CCC’s active investigations… and just like that, out comes the carbon copy “abortion rights” songsheet.

  3. Franx says:

A contrived controversy. The organisers, being persons of doubtful substance despite their BA, are in the grubby business of advertising for victims. The report itself is a grubby and derivative piece which agitates with old photographs of US women protesting about an issue which they had misunderstood. No matter, for the issue is on trend, at least about bodily autonomy. Fools.

… accessible for women and safe …

“Safe”. There’s that word again. A very Orwellian word these days. Too bad it’s not a word that applies to the babies in this scenario.

“What we want to do is make sure that it is accessible for women”

Is it only women who can get pregnant again?

Possibly because this particular form of health care involves killing another human.
Perhaps that’s the sort of feedback they want to hear…

    “Safe” for everyone concerned.

WA has a Fremantle based agriculture and food minister that doesn’t like farmers and graziers.
