   It is educationally unsound and professionally incompetent to play the Miss astride the desktop or milk crate while reading from a book to a classroom who themselves are denied a copy of the book to follow. Simply, Miss out the front pouting furiously in delivering prose or verse in throaty tones, while dangling fishnet legs, belongs in front of paying and alcohol fuelled audiences who do not warrant a working with children permit.

You understood well: children are not allowed to witness luridly risqué performers in nightclubs yet the same children are subjected to luridly risqué performers in the classroom. No mention of the lovelies having requisite teaching accreditations, or a union ticket, or a police check. But they might be vaccinated, so all good.
