And the rest of the LSM. And the academy. And Big Business. And the superannuation industry.
Brainwashed ‘True Believers’ have to believe or their world view is a pile of excrement.
Perfect illustration of the despicable mendacity driving this whole process.
Burney knows the Yes case doesn’t require a red cent.
Let’s hope this racist Voice is shot down in flames.
C.L.
Tell me your ‘larfing’, please.
Their ABC now gets $3.16 billion per annum???
My mistake. That’s a triennial number.
Thanks, NFA.
Since ABC is watched only by lefties who will all vote lockstep ‘yes’ it’s a moot point.
Interesting that Albo and Burno have decided that public money for both cases would not be politically wise. Suggests the focus groups and internal polls aren’t giving them the answer they want to hear. I wonder if they’ll pull the referendum entirely?
Strange I have heard and seen both sides being interviewed on the ABC.
so usual claptrap from CL.
Bruce seems unfamiliar with funding for referendums. It is never the case the government provides funding for both cases.
Damn!
I was thinking we all could put in for some funding!
you are a communist fascist socialist alliance shill.
Non Mentis is a rabis watcher of Their ABC. Who is surprised? All the pre-school failures watch Their ABC.
But that does explain his complete ignorance of the technical issues of electricity generation. No wonder he can’t answer some simple questions on the subject.
Homer – I know that public funding of one side is often done. But it’s clear that the political situation is preventing Burno from funding a yes case advertising splurge, probably on fear of backlash. That was my point about focus groups and internal polling. At the same time they really don’t want money being spent on the no case. So they can’t fund yes only, and they don’t want to fund no. Hence no funding at all.
We should be ever thankful that Trampis appears regularly as he provides us the view of what the Left are thinking and how they think, if it actually is thinking.
Your an ableist bollux.
Bollux
that was a lol response.
Bruce,
The government does not have to provide any funding for a referendum.
One of the reasons is you are assuming it should be 50:50
This leads into how should the media cover it. Should it be 50: 50 when it is clearly not in the polls.
Non Menis
Now you call on the (utterly unreliable) political polls? Surely you jest?
Remember the leftard position (yours) is: If the polls support the leftard position, that is the voice of the people. If the polls oppose the leftard position, that is mere cheap populism.
lol
Or, as an extremely patronising and supercilious lefty politician some years ago said: “the public needs to be educated to the correct way of thinking.”
How much did they already pay to get Shaq to push the barrow?
Homer,
The government wants to provide funding for this referendum. For the yes case. They wants so badly.
But they can’t because if they do the punters will react with hostility. That’s the problem.
Thirty or forty years of ATSIC-style stories of misdeeds have accreted onto the brains of the people inhabiting suburbia, so that if they are stirred up enough to actually think about this issue they will firmly vote no. So Labor’s only hope is to not stir up the punters, and let them sleep in happy ignorance until referendum day. Hence it makes sense they don’t want to advertise either case.

Sound reasoning,
