Pretty Skinny

Despite our lack of greatness, we all paid Kate Jenkins $420,600 a year to whine about men:

It’s been a pretty skinny organisation that I’ve worked under and I think that we, as they say, punch above our weight. But imagine if you gave us a few more resources how much more we could do to make this a great country.”

Mrs Jenkins bows out as sex discrimination czarina next April

The staff of the HRC accurately reflects the racial and cultural make-up of the Australian population. Amiright?

    jupes

There was enough leftard hysteria when a Liberal woman, Pru Goward was appointed as Sex Discrimination Commissioner, imagine the screeches if a man, even a leftard man, were to be appointed.

The job (in their minds at least) is reserved for leftard wymminses.

Sometimes it felt like the Jenkins Review and all the commentary distracted from the flaws in Higgins’ case. Jenkins praised Brittany last year in her report: “As I deliver our Set the Standard Report today, I firstly want to acknowledge the important role that Brittany Higgins has played as a catalyst for this review by sharing her experience. The impact of her bravery is immeasurable”.

At a conference a few months ago, a former MP told me the Parliament House workplace survey indicated that one of the main issues related to women bullying other women. We certainly saw this in the Wong/Gallagher exchange with Reynolds about the Higgins matter. I think a portion of Rachelle Miller’s $650,000 payment related to the actions of a female Chief of Staff.

Brittany’s just tweeted that she’s prepared to be a witness in a civil case to defend the truth.

I grieve for the long-lost world of my youth when society was at relative peace with itself and we had no need of sympathetic ears of the likes of Ms Jenkins open to the torrent of all manner of invented wrongs demanding redress.
