In 2023, the US will spend $1 trillion on defence and intelligence

All those minds and agencies just took down the Northern Illinois Bottlecap Balloon Brigade.

I tried contacting our military and the FBI to try to enlighten them on what a lot of these things probably are but I just got the runaround.

Pico Balloons…costing up to $US140. It’s reported that a sidewinder missile costs $US400K, not to mention the flight time for the F22 Raptor.

The potential for asymmetric warfare is going to be noted, given the prevailing winds from the Eurasian mainland.

Popping balloons gives you more bang for your buck

On the topic of budgets and priorities, seems that Trump will visit East Palestine, Ohio on Wednesday next week … spending his own dime I believe.

    Presidential!

  4. Lee says:

East Palestine also happens to be a relatively poor town in a red state.

As Tucker Carlson points out, had this happened in, say, Georgetown, Washington, D.C., the federal government couldn’t react more differently and fast enough.

I can’t work out why they’re using Sidewinders on balloons. You could (for much less) punch lead through the balloon from the cannon that is fitted to every single F-22
