   Worth a read, they site numbers supposdly originally collected by Mossad (I’m not vouching for that) suggeting approx 150k UAF deaths for only about 20k Russian deaths. That might be confused because the Russians have four armies operating on parallel under weirdly overlapped command structure, and rhey all keep their casualties secret.

   At any rate, worth reading the RAND plan to bait Russia into over-extending, trying to defend the indefensible Transnistria … a slender river valley stuck out on the edge of Moldova. IMHO this is beyond Russia’s capabilities and Putin would be a fool to commit troops into Transnistria. He will simply can’t afford to get an open front with NATO and stretch his forces out like that.

   Then again, I also did not expect Putin to send troops attaking Kyiv and I still have no idea WTF he did that. This blog comment does not constitute financial advice.

   I also think Putin marching on Kiev was a particularly foolhardy thing to do. Perhaps incredibly arrogant too.
   The problem is, that armies marched across Ukrainian territory plenty of times, everyone knows about the obvious ones, the troubled history of Russia and Poland might put it into perspective as to why Biden’s bellicose rhetoric on Ukraine and NATO was so damaging.

   Biden was described as “brave” this week for visiting the same city previously visited by actors, Albo and a team of make-up artists from Vogue magazine.

   Biden visited Kiev with Putin’s permission and blessing.

   He was only in danger on the stair ramp of Air Force One.
