Ratchet Conservatism

The only thing that was sad is Lidia Thorpe had to make a protest and make a scene. This wasn’t about her last night. It should be about the fact that we have moved on as a society and we should make sure that there isn’t discrimination against LGBTIQ people in our society. That’s what a modern Australia should look like. But Lidia, please, it’s not always about you.”

The Nationals are history with people like Littleproud in charge. Matt Canavan needs to jump across to One Nation.

Catholic schools hang on for dear life to the shame of homosexuality.

David has little to be proud of.

It’s (mildly) interesting to note how many of the various brands of homos these craven politicians quote. How far up the crazy totem-pole. Littleproud has gone for six i.e. he is concerned for lezzos, gays, bis, trannies, intersex and queer, however the asexuals can go take a running jump as far as he is concerned. Same with the pansexuals. What a bigot!

  4. Cassie of Sydney says:

Confirms again why I won’t be voting Liberal or National for a long time, probably never again.

The NSW state election is coming up at the end of March. I’ll be doing a donkey vote in the lower house but in the upper house I’ll be voting One Nation.

Strange (not) how the left don’t believe a Christian school should be allowed the discretion to decide who it doesn’t employ, on the other hand, neither Labor nor the Greens would knowingly employ a conservative or let one into their party (unlike the mind-numbingly stupid Liberal Party where lefty infiltration is a long way towards completion. Hence its defeat after defeat in elections during the last four years).

  6. C.L. says:

    Poor old David Marr.
Still craving endorsement from the Catholic Church.

Ah, but like a great many gays, Marr insists the Catholic Church must change for him, not the other way around.

  8. Christine says:

George Pell and David Marr: The latter could never understand why the former chose the celibate life. It seemed to torment him; he demonstrated a peculiar fascination.

Some cultures consider shaming to be a wise thing

Fine by me. If they all wore Mao-suits they’d at least be honest.
    We’re all individuals!

Representative for Tara and Chinchilla has quite a enough on his plate right now I would think without worrying about virtue signaling about fags in the inner city of Sydney bluing with abo nationalists at some homo parade on Oxford St.

  12. Entropy says:

Littleproud apparently is a good local member, according to a few people I know in that electorate.

As a policy wonk though, he is the worst kind: a retail politician. The kind that throws vast quantities of taxpayers dollars around to buy votes. I utterly despise that kind.

  13. Rosie says:

Exhibitionists take exception to an exhibitionist.

  14. Harpo says:

Cassia, why a donkey vote? That simply rewards a random name on the ballot. You could end up voting for a green or a teal inadvertently. Do you intend to cast an informal vote instead?

  15. cuckoo says:

The ABC reporter (she/her) who introduced one of their many segments on the Mardi Gras trilled excitedly that as well as feathers and spangles, some were dressed in “not much at all!” Remind me, didn’t we have to ban ‘grid girls’ from the Melbourne Grand Prix for the sake of public decency?

  16. Morsie says:

Surely that quote from Littleproud is a joke, surely. It must be, nobody could be that dumb and still be able to hold down a job.

  17. Entropy says:

    I miss grid girls.

That’s always been the National Party strategy … get whatever payout they can shake loose from the government of the day. The union movement does much the same thing ..
the slight difference being whose trousers ultimately pocket the loot.

The only member of the Nationals able to briefly show some principles was Joyce … when he tried to discourage a debt blowout … and he held out a few years then folded.
