I was somewhat surprised that ASIO chieftain Mike Burgess joked about “top tools” in his Annual Threat Assessment. The treatment of Daniel Duggan – thrown into a terrorist’s cell in Silverwater on the orders of the same bent US officials who refuse to prosecute China-financed Hunter Biden – is a national disgrace. The father of several small children and former owner of Top Gun Australia flight school is innocent until proven guilty. ASIO’s mission is to protect the rule of law, not throw tomatoes at a man in the parish stocks. He is entitled to a fair hearing tomorrow. On the nature of the charges and the bona fides of the accuser, last October the Washington Post revealed that more than 500 retired US military personnel — “including scores of generals and admirals” – are legally on the payroll of various Saudi Arabian psychopaths. Mr Duggan is accused of taking $182,000 for flying lessons over a two year period (13 years ago). That’s roughly what Joe Biden’s son spent on drugs, hookers and kicking 10 per cent upstairs to daddy-o in a week. Mark Dreyfus – technically, Attorney-General of Australia – can block Mr Duggan’s extradition or send a ping to the Americans from HMAS Yellow Submarine that he now works for them.

We have to accept that we are a mere vassal state of the US. It probably helps explain the push for abolition of our states. It’s easier for them to control us and implement their agendas that way. Regardless, this pilot seems a bit daft to train Chinese fighter pilots.
The alleged offences were 14 years ago – back in the We Love China days.
That’s irrelevant to his treatment, however. A two-metre-by-four-metre cell, heavily restricted family visits and shackled?
And how is it bad to train a pilot from China but good to export all the materials to China that go into their aircraft carriers?
Thanks. I didn’t know that it was 14 years ago. We have trained plenty of Saudi pilots in Australia. Might be a problem down the track. Other industries? Pig Iron Twiggy is safe, for now.
Sydney Lawyers has a good summary of the case:
“Doing the Bidding of the United States”: Senator Shoebridge on the Dan Duggan Extradition.
It’s appalling treatment, what is wrong with our government?
The Greens for good for once.
Sad for Sam Neill aka Vasily Borodin. Best wishes to him and his family.
(I can’t comment on your story CL as I don’t know enough, other than that ASIO seems to be chasing a lot of mythical creatures right now.)
(Sam Neill aka Sidney Riley, Ace of Spies.
I used to love him)
Why the need to have Daniel Duggan shackled? Traditional treatment meted out to suspected terrorists?
The Duggan case isn’t an ASIO thing, Bruce. The extradition request was from US Homeland Security. Usually, to extradite an Australian citizen, the foreign offence must be matched by an Australian offence. That isn’t the case here – which is one of the issues the magistrate in Sydney must consider tomorrow. I only mentioned ASIO because Burgess’s comment (I thought) could be read as prejudicial. A better policy would be to leave the jokes to comedians.
I gues this means it’s now quite acceptable for a business to refuse service to anyone who looks like they might be Chinese? I mean, you know, out of an abundance of caution and all that … wouldn’t want to risk terrorism charges a decade later.

Not Duggan.
Mike Burgess is a very dangerous political hack who believes all who are not socialists to be Nazis.
He’s not very bright, and he’s in charge.
He’ll have people monitoring this site because of all you fascist alt right terrorists, and not looking at the foreign influence of the WEF elites…you know, Bill Gates flying in to give Albo his orders and situation update.
