The Liberal Party throttles an MP who stood up to violent men

Victorian MP Moira Deeming replaced Bernie Finn. Both have been expelled for Christianity.

This is not an issue about free speech but a member of the parliamentary party associating with people whose views are abhorrent to my values, the values of the Liberal Party and the wider community. The Liberal Party I joined and which I am now honoured to lead must strive to represent all Victorians. Regardless of faith, race, sexual preference and identity, Victorians everywhere should know that the Liberal Party is inclusive and can be a voice for them.”

  1. NFA says:

The Americanized Liberal Party of Australia.

  2. C.L. says:

    The Liberals are finished.
I have no intention of voting for them ever again.

  3. Rosie says:

    Me neither.
Well not unless they do a complete backflip on climate change, woman’s rights etc.
Personally I think Pesutto isn’t reading the room.
There are many liberals who don’t want strange men in the ladies change room or toilets, or men competing against their daughters in sporting events.
The Libs have just just shrunk their base, again.

  4. Buccaneer says:

They have learned nothing from opposition

  5. Rohan says:

The sooner their demise, the better. Meanwhile, I’ll ratchet strap my hat. It’s going to be a rough ride

  6. Entropy says:

A true conspiracy theorist would have to think the Nazi dudes were paid to turn up.

  7. Charles says:

You just have to wonder if there is even a single principle that the Victorian Liberals stand for? It is also obvious that they allow the media and Labor to frame every event and political argument because basically I believe they are unable to think for themselves. They appear to have no beliefs or convictions on anything and they can’t really frame an argument for themselves.

They all should resign as it is obvious they are just public servants working in what appears to me to be the Department of Political Opposition and the only fight ever they have is who is going to be the leader this year, with the thought of being actually in government just some sort of nebulous far-off ideal that never happens.

  8. Old School Conservative says:

    Spot on Charles.
I’d go further and add to your description of Victorian Liberals all of the NSW Liberals and the Federal “Opposition” too.

  9. The Liberal Party is now a Bidenised party.

  10. NFA says:

What is the difference, apart from the accent, between the Democratic Party and The Australian Liberal Party?

  11. cuckoo says:

They all should resign as it is obvious they are just public servants working in what appears to me to be the Department of Political Opposition

    Bingo.

  12. Ragu says:

with the thought of being actually in government just some sort of nebulous far-off ideal that never happens.

Why bother aspiring to leadership when Lord Kyphosis is doing everything that you would do? It’s easier to sit on the sidelines in your exclusive little club and shout “up yours filty bigots”

Mr Pesutto, the peasants are revolting

    Let them eat cock

  13. MatrixTransform says:

Is the Liberal Party really stupid enough to trash Ms Deeming … I think they are

Maybe they can rescue their image in the eyes of Labor, Green and Teal voters by making idiotic statements to the ABC whose partisan activism is busy framing this ridiculous debate

but really … A group of women that don’t want children mutilated are Jack-Booting across the state?

I want to say, “Don’t be so bloody stupid” … but the fools have form in this area

They’ll just harm their image among their own voters if they move to expel her

Pesutto is the Ring-master of a Clown Circus

  14. Ed Case says:

A true conspiracy theorist would have to think the Nazi dudes were paid to turn up.

Always going to happen, Blind Freddie coulda predicted it.

Moira Deeming, no clue about State Politics whatsoever?

She’s been led up the garden path, sure, but she’s not 12 years old anymore, either.

  15. Riversutra says:

What Charles said says it all.

    the Department of Political Opposition

They have created a permanent employment place to justify receiving a pay cheque.
Problem is, it’s pretty much now permanent.
Every single thing they say they stand for, Labor was there “firstest and with the mostest” (falsely attributed to Nathan Bedford Forrest, a man who knew a thing or two about fighting to win).

  16. Cassie of Sydney says:

    “C.L. says:

    The Liberals are finished.
I have no intention of voting for them ever again.”

Yep. Never, ever again, state or federal

  17. C.L. says:

If only we could magic Latho into the federal Opposition Leader’s position.

  18. Rafiki says:

In thinking about the future path (which might of course be a dead-end) of the Liberal Party’s future, it is relevant to know more about the composition of its branches. Critically, is membership declining as old people die, and younger have no interest? I fear so, but is it?
I think there is some people who control a large and sustainable pile of money that’s used to fund LNP campaigns. Might they encourage a return to older values?
Or do we just need a new conservative/liberal party? If so, how will one arise?

  19. John says:

    C.L. says:

If only we could magic Latho into the federal Opposition Leader’s position.

The only thing standing in the way of “Latho” forming a government at the forthcoming NSW elections is the voters.

It’s not even strenuous for voters to do that; just lift a tiny pencil and put the appropriate mark for One Nation on the paper. All of a few seconds.

The only reason the the LNP and Labor have the policies they do, is that they well understand what voters want. But One Nation and the Freedom Parties are not even a blimp in the opinion polls.

In voters’ eyes Christianity is evil and true evil (the ideology of death and chaos) is virtuous. They say Albo is not responsible for the pain he’s putting the us through. It’s all forces outside his control and he is merely a passive victim of circumstances doing a good job.

This is not the Country we fought for. We don’t recognise the Australia of a “fair go” any more. We are lost in this world and the zombies are now in the significant majority and taken over power. They have already enacted laws to make it easier to kill us off because even our minority voice is inconvenient to them.

Lemings jumping over a cliff! Very depressing.

  20. Megan says:

Pesutto is the Ring-master of a Clown Circus.

100% correct and 1000% predictable. Put me down on the ‘Will never vote for the SFLs ever again.

    Three thumbs up for Charles’comment @ 6:50am.

  21. Megan says:

PS: All grammarical errors are the fault of the clean cut, new neo-nasties.

  22. Christine says:

Pesutto talks “values”; while he spits on the people who voted for Moira Deeming.
Claims to know the values of the “wider community” – has he checked with the Muslim community? And if their leaders have spoken up, I missed their input.

Re the future of the Liberal party: I share Rafiki’s fear that younger people are not interested.

  23. cuckoo says:

If Andrews bans n@zi salutes, how will he know who are the ‘neo-n@zis’ at the next anti-child-mutilation rally?

  24. Buccaneer says:

Of course younger people are not interested, the liberals spend no time expounding the value of our social construct. They rely on community volunteerism but do everything to undermine its participation. Labour hates volunteers, they hate the people and they do everything to ensure only their elite get to stand at the table, while actively pretending to stand up for disadvantaged people. The libs just go along and project that they are slightly less worse.

Do the libs make our education system stand up for our values, no, they let them actively undermine them. Even the spellchecker panders to these cockroaches, trying to tell me that my spelling of Labour should be changed to the absurd marketing spin spelling of Labor.

Some good leadership would turn it around in a heartbeat, the current generation of students have largely worked out the pup they are being sold in the classrooms and privately use all the language the left is trying desperately to criminalise.

  25. C.L. says:

The only reason the the LNP and Labor have the policies they do, is that they well understand what voters want.

I’m not sure I accept that, John. If the last three years have shown us anything it is that people “want” what they’re nudged and bullied to want.

This is not the Country we fought for. We don’t recognise the Australia of a “fair go” any more. We are lost in this world and the zombies are now in the significant majority and taken over power. They have already enacted laws to make it easier to kill us off because even our minority voice is inconvenient to them.

Yes. It is what Benedixt XVI prophesied: a dictatorship of relativism.

  26. Lee says:

You just have to wonder if there is even a single principle that the Victorian Liberals stand for?

The last straw for me was when the Liberal Party in Victoria backed Dictator Dan’s evil (and offence against human rights) “conversion therapy” bill before the last election.

  27. C.L. says:

Even the spellchecker panders to these cockroaches, trying to tell me that my spelling of Labour should be changed to the absurd marketing spin spelling of Labor.

Related: the assigning of the colour red to Republicans by the US media from about 2000 onward to disassociate Democrats from their own communism.

  28. jupes says:

Or do we just need a new conservative/liberal party? If so, how will one arise?

Step 1: Destroy the Liberal Party. Put them last on the ballot.

  29. Fred says:

As a Victorian of a conservative bent, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the demise of the Liberals.

After Ted Baillieu accidentally won the election, he once said that his two biggest issues were art and multiculturism.

I hope they never win another seat.

  30. jupes says:

There is so much wrong with this that it just can’t pass muster.

    Pesutto:

Moira Deeming not only attended this protest on the steps of parliament, but was actively involved in different ways in the organisation and promotion of this protest at which there were speakers with known links to neo-Nazis,

    Yet Deeming claims:

Disappointed with @VictoriaPolice , who let a bunch of masked men into the LWS buffer zone, terrifying women who were just trying to speak about their rights.

There is no evidence that there is any truth to Pesutto’s claim. The fact Vic Plod let the tossers in, makes me suspicious that this is just a set-up to discredit the anti-trans activists. Regardless, the fact Pesutto sides with perverted freaks over women and girls means he is complicit. He then claims to represent ALL Victorians, while sacking someone for a mainstream view. What a sick joke.

Meanwhile, Australian media and political elites continue to demonise pathetic Nazis in Australia, while sending ammunition and equipment to far more serious Nazis in Ukraine. What a clown show.

  31. Cassie of Sydney says:

I’ve posted this on Dover’s blog.

The Australian Jewish Association, of which I am a member, has just sent out this email…

NAZIS CRASH WOMEN’S RALLY IN MELBOURNE – questions raised re police behaviour

A “Let Women Speak” rally was held in Melbourne on the weekend featuring visiting British women’s advocate Kellie-Jay Keen-Minshull (also known as Posie Parker) as well as local women. This movement is concerned that biological men are undermining the integrity of women’s sport and spaces such as bathrooms.

AJA unreservedly condemns the Nazis who invaded the rally. These ugly thugs likely saw an opportunity to hijack the event for their own publicity.

There was some very odd policing. While the Victorian police held back the trans activists who arrived to disrupt the rally, they did not do the same to the Nazis. Rather they seemed to facilitate their entry to where the women’s rally was taking place on parliament steps. WATCH the video and form your own view.

This disruption caused the women’s rally to disperse early. Many are saying the police should have stopped the Nazis.

The Nazis were condemned by the women’s rally organisers – one contacted AJA in distress explaining what had happened. The “Let Women Speak” organisers had nothing to do with the Nazis.

It is shameful that some politicians and media are now trying to smear this women’s movement with the false accusation of involvement with Nazis.

AJA’s social media posts on the protest have been shared hundreds of times, including by prominent social media pages, reaching a significant audience. Our Twitter item has reached an audience of 200,000 and is still growing.

Multiple Members of Parliament have commented, thanking AJA for our stance on this issue.

    – The Victorian Government will reportedly use the protest to pass laws banning the Nazi salute.

    – The Vic Liberals has begun a process to expel Moira Deeming MP who attended and supported the Let Women Speak rally

    – The Blues Brothers from the classic movie knew how to treat Nazis.

I can’t post copies of the Tweets but there are tweets from David Limbrick, Catherine Cumming, Stassja Frey and others supporting what the AJA says.

    Thank you to the AJA.

When I heard about the Nazis on Saturday night, I smelt a rat. The appearance of the Nazis was deliberately planned.

  32. John says:

    C.L. says:

If the last three years has shown us anything it is that people “want” what they’re nudged and bullied to want.

Yet I’ve never seen any bullying going on in the privacy of the ballot box. There are many Freedom Parties to provide alternative choice, but even One Nation pales into insignificance compared to Greens and now Teals.

I’m very disillusioned about the future as I believe only a significant amount of hurt (think Great Depression, or horrors, World War) MAY awaken people from their stupor.

  33. Rafiki says:

    And Step 2 Jupes?
Have 20+ years of Labor/Greens government and hope a new “right wing” party gains government. Something like this happened in Queensland until I think Bjelke took over. In the interim the degrading of the education system may still have its effects. Anyway, what is your Step 2.
Mine? Well maybe along these lines. A Latho led ON, acting in concert with the non-Kean faction, has a majority in the Legislative Council. From this base, a new party arises.
    Maybe, maybe.

  34. Lee says:

When I heard about the Nazis on Saturday night, I smelt a rat. The appearance of the Nazis was deliberately planned.

    My thoughts exactly.

When I heard about this it had the feel of a false flag operation all over it.

  35. Ragu says:

VicPig have shown the world they would rather protect Nahzees than women or antifa. The boffins at ArSeIO haven’t thought this one through because Melbourne now looks like the antipodean Ukraine.

Also, I’ve met 2 real life master race types in my life and they were both covered in tatts and bald. It is beyond any doubt that the Feds are behind this.

  36. Cassie of Sydney says:

By the way, the NAZI lies are working, NZ is looking to block Kellie-Jay Keen from entering the country.

We are shithole and so is NZ.

  37. jupes says:

Anyway, what is your Step 2.

Wait and see. I will vote for ON, hopefully more get on board. However, I will not support the “non-Kean faction”. If the Liberals survive as a party, it will only be a matter of time before they suck up to the Left again. Then we will be right back here again.

  38. Franx says:

Denouncing nazi influence at rallies is one thing, yet the same nazis are at times little more than the false flag not of any “right wing extremist group” but the false flag of the established political elite.
Or, as Orwell had it at the close of Animal Farm, the remaining farm creatures peering into the house:
No question, now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.’

  39. Franx says:

Latham was no supporter of the oppressed during lockdown. Quite the opposite.

  40. Rafiki says:

    Jupes
I’m thinking (after next Saturday’s NSW election) of a Labor government with a majority, but a Legislative Council comprised of ON, anti-Kean LNP, and maybe some others, which grouping over the next couple of years could form or simply operate as a distinct party. And then compete as such in the next general election. How well they do might turn on how bad the energy crisis gets.
The Kean led LNP might continue, or migrate to the Greens.
I am voting in the LA for the anti-Kean Liberal and ON in the Council. I will also hand out HTVs for the Liberal, and if I learn anything about intra-Liberal intrigues, I’ll report back here.

  41. Old Lefty says:

The Victorian Liberals? Whimpering, simpering, gibbering, sniveling quislings and cowards.

  42. Ed Case says:

Latham was no supporter of the oppressed during lockdown. Quite the opposite.

    That’s Latham all over.
He’ll run with the foxes and hunt with the hounds.
    And break Taxi Drivers arms.
And give a crusher handshake to an old man.

  43. Nix says:

Deeming was protesting the choice of individuals. She did it with people lining up to offer a Nazi salute. Why would a political party want a person with no respect for liberty or her associates?

  44. Cassie of Sydney says:

“Deeming was protesting the choice of individuals. She did it with people lining up to offer a Nazi salute. Why would a political party want a person with no respect for liberty or her associates?”

LOL. My God you’re a moron.

We know you don’t mind perverts in female only spaces. What next, are you going to defend “minor attracted” people? Oh wait, you already have.

  45. Nix says:

Cassie: you really hate peiple who don’t fit your prejudices don’t you? Bigot.

  46. NFA says:

And your an evil Germanic water sprite nix

  47. Cassie of Sydney says:

“Cassie: you really hate peiple who don’t fit your prejudices don’t you? Bigot.”

How quaint. An anti-Semite calling me a “bigot”.

We don’t allow children to “choose” to smoke, but you think that they can make an informed choice to that puberty stopping drugs and have attempts to surgically change their sex?

    Bugger off.
