Even Tilly Aston could see the Liberal Party stands for nothing

And the lady after whom the electorate is named was blind. Mr Dutton defines the Peter Principle.

which sees “liberal” as being in the US sense, as so-called “progressive”

    Hi, cletus.
    Read a dictionary.
Whether Websters or Oxford Concise, the definition of liberal is the same.

(Flash of inspiration) Dick Ed is Photios. LOL.

Thanks for noticing, but you may use the English translation of my name, “Illustrious”.

Are you too stupid to have noticed the ongoing perversion of the meaning of words? Try again.

  4. Ed Case says:

Please explain the electricity generation system and net zero under the category “makes things work”.
    Okay.
Labor is going Scorched Earth like no the Country in the World, to achieve Net Zero.

The Liberal Party woulda fudged it, like every other Country in the World, and got there without destroying the Economy.

  5. Ed Case says:

The Liberal brand was damaged by National Party hucksters such as Canavan and Christensen spruiking Clean Coal Power Generation and HELE Power Plants.

That stuff was never going to happen, they knew that.
Tony [I wannabe known as the Infrastructure Prime Minister] Abbott was another one.

How much Infrastructure did he build?
    He didn’t build any.
How about inspiring the building of Infrastructure during Turnbull’s & Morrison’s Governments?
    Nup, nothing there either.

    No.
You’ve perverted Cletus, which means slack jawed yokel into something that’d make a Cat laugh.

  7. Christine says:

    It’s all quite grim.

And another black mark for Tony Abbott, one I hadn’t considered.
Why did he bother writing that book .. the title looking sorry now.
    He’s still cycling.

    Oh well
    where to from here

  8. Ed Case says:

Journalists covering Tony Abbott during his heyday seemed to have contempt for him.

I assumed at the time that it was just pro Labor bias, but looking back, I now think they had him pegged as a fraud early on and everything he did later just reinforced that opinion.

  9. Ed Case says:

On the ABC coverage last night, ex Liberal staffer Tony Barry claimed that Polling in Aston had turned up a perception of the Liberal Party as the Nasty Party.

David Speers encouraged Barry to expand on that obvious lie, but he went to water.

  10. struth says:

Barry worked for Christopher Pyne and was a socialist wet within the party they falsely describe as a moderate.
    Need we say any more.

The Liberal Party woulda fudged it, like every other Country in the World, and got there without destroying the Economy.

The evidence of the last nine years suggests otherwise.

When The Simpsons is the source of your “classical” education, perhaps you should go back to school.

You mean they were going to lie about it … hope no one noticed and then pretend like we got there.

Trouble is that the Greens in Australia are just barely smart enough to figure out the Liberal’s relatively transparent BS.

  14. Ed Case says:

Barry worked for Christopher Pyne and was a socialist wet within the party they falsely describe as a moderate.

    Thanks for that.
He gives off a similar ice cold vibe as David Davis, who commented on the Victorian Election for the ABC, and had similar advice for the Party, which was to Preselect Minorities and Women.

  15. Ed Case says:

You mean they were going to lie about it … hope no one noticed and then pretend like we got there.

    No.
But even if they got the chance to do that, wouldn’t that be preferable to Labor utterly destroying the Economy, which is what is happening now?

  16. struth says:

Barry is of the Mark Textor ilk.
    Traitors.
    The swamp..

  17. Entropy says:

Barry looking for a regular gig on media.

Anyone that worked for Pyne is poisoned goods.
