  1. a reader says:

I don’t want the culture of the special forces reviewed by a leftie bureaucrat. As far as I can tell, bar maybe one or two rogue operators, it’s a very strong, task-focussed group of outstanding servicemen. Give them the support they need. Let the chaplains do their jobs in that role. Let the leadership build the necessary culture and keep Canberra busybodies away from it.

  2. C.L. says:

    Not any lefty bureaucrat.
The focus shift was the recommendation of Vivienne Thom.

  3. Pedro the Loafer says:

    Oh dear.
    Another tilty headed woman.

  4. Buccaneer says:

Let me guess, she wouldn’t dare impose her opinions on the indigenous community

  5. Christine says:

Victorian descendants of Aboriginal warriors are proud of their forebears; they proclaim and celebrate the warrior ‘culture’.

No warrior ‘culture’ for today’s soldiers will be tolerated.
I don’t see where humility fits in.

    Yes, busybodies.

  6. bollux says:

“People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.”
Vivienne Thom would do well to remember this.

  7. Lee says:

Do they want special forces (indeed the ADF as a whole) full of soy boys?

A left wing bureaucrat is the last person I would allow anywhere near the military.

  8. Baba says:

Replace all SAS troopers with warrior women. Problem solved.
