  1. Buccaneer says:

I’d note that the article attracted a predictable midwit to provide a lame commentary intended to provide a counterpoint but which not only succeeded in proving the author’s point but proving that said commenter is indeed a midwit too.

  2. Ed Case says:

Albo is a guy with a lot to hide, it’s part of his personality.
His eyes are too close together, that used to be considered a sign of shiftiness.

  3. Ed Case says:

    You’re a Midwit, Bucca?
I think you might have tickets on yourself, pard.

  4. Christine says:

The commenter Alistair reminds that Albanese is fed all his talking points by the media.

The photos of young Anthony are brilliant choices by Samuel Mullins; an off-putting mix of bewilderment and nastiness.

  5. Buccaneer says:

Ed, your comprehension skills are well known here to be poor, there is no need to keep proving that.

  6. Lee says:

So-called BalancedObserver comes up with some real comic gems in the comments section.

He lost me very early on with:
Anthony Albanese is doing a pretty good job as PM.

Said commenter used to post on the old Catallaxy under the same screen name.

Both there and on Quadrant he has always come across (at least to me) as incredibly condescending.

  8. Buccaneer says:

That’s because naming yourself Balanced Observer, then proving you’re not remotely close is idiotic. The biggest gem, was missing the point that the entire article was about Albo and his legacy. I suppose when you think the worlds problems are solved by more institutional government and not by the people, for the people, it’s hard to see how limited your outlook might be.

  9. Boambee John says:

Grandpa Ed Simpson would never, of course, have tickets on himself.

Albo is ineffective and useless, much like Turnbull was … as a consequence not much gets done and Australia is rewarded with some period of stability.

That’s about as good as it gets … presume everything they do is always bad … and then all you need to watch out for is whether anything is happening.

  11. Rockdoctor says:

Albo is ineffective and useless, much like Turnbull was …

Agree completely and protected from any scrutiny by the media.

  12. Entropy says:

I (until they finally manage to get me) work for a bunch of midwits. The reason why we are there seems irrelevant.

  13. Buccaneer says:

Turnbull gave us net zero and the carbon tax by proxy and he knobbled his own side across this and many other issues. The antithesis of stability. He was useless because he was so arrogant, he thought he was automatically right about everything and never bothered to listen to other’s viewpoints or argue effectively. He would have been all for introducing race into the constitution.

I’d note, Albo may be a midwit, but it would be generous to call Bowen a halfwit. Chalmers thinks the Reserve Bank is the only mechanism to fight inflation and Gallagher, Wong and Shorten are proper psychopathic narcissists. So Albo is quite possibly the the pick of his side.
