  1. Franx says:

Depends on what is perceived as essential to the existential.
I mean, being left in childhood innocence, or being a man or woman and free-willed and trusted and simply ‘being’ in the image of God is as much essential to sustaining the existential as is any desire to protect against any warring machine whether provoked or not provoked or not. Abbot has lost sight of the real frontline.

Always a popular & well received theme with has-been politicians on the lucrative, pension topper, talk fest circuit ..
    Reds under the beds ………!

Tony the Shirtfronter plays the great game with alacrity. Too many hits to the head during his boxing days.

  4. John Brumble says:

Very annoying when people campaign for people who actively opposed doing anything about free speech as the alternative.

  5. Roger W says:

I must say that if the corruption riddled, anti Christian Ukraine is the global front line of freedom, things are worse than I thought.
Still, if you can redefine what a woman is I suppose you can redefine what freedom is.

TA is a better man than me but I think a little less of him now.

His comment may have something to do with his role in the UK. I have been there a couple times this year and the pro Ukraine anti putin feeling is incredible.

Yep – and it’s always a good thing to follow the mob, not do what’s right.

I was in London last year and the sheer number of Ukrainian flags (and fag flags) hanging around the city makes it look like the Ukies invaded and colonised Great Britain. Utterly obtuse. When I woke up in Copenhagen the next day I saw one of each but more Dannebrog than you can poke a stick at

  11. Old Lefty says:

A little context: long before the Ukraine war, there was a lot of anti-Russian sentiment in the UK based on resentment at the swaggering of the oligarchs who had bought there way in. It was particularly strong in west London where the middle classes felt aggrieved at being priced out of their own home. (That sort of thing, of course, is only supposed to happen to the plebs, but that’s another story.)

Agreed (with the sarcasm). Not condoning it

In the meantime I see Goose Morristeen has been shooting his big stupid gob off.

Worst Australian PM in my lifetime, which is quite an achievement.
